This is hands-down the worst pharmacy I’ve ever worked with! They can’t keep their computers up and running, and they can’t fill prescriptions within a reasonable amount of time. We’ve only been dealing with them for exactly a week and a half now and had nothing but problems and inconveniences! The Safeway pharmacy in Hazel Dell is much better! Go there and save yourself the headache!

Mariah, the manager, is so rude to my 2 year old daughter. She slapped her and then laughed, and expects it to be okay.

what a terrible experience! I wonder if my expectations of a pharmacy to get my order correct every time are just too high. it seems impossible to get what you need from this pharmacy without argument and without them charging you more money because they made a mistake and they don't know what they're doing. I wasted an hour waiting and 10 bucks paying for a partial fill that they couldn't complete. They chose to submit it through the insurance as a separate prescription and charge me more because they chose to make it into two prescriptions and then I had to wait to get the second half filled. I'm so tired of unprofessional pharmacists who do not follow instructions and do not supervise everyone else working in their pharmacy. There is no excuse for not following a patient's instructions and there is no excuse for not having things filled on time when you promised them hours earlier. do not make promises you cannot keep. If you're a pharmacist and you work for safeway and you're having a really, really tough time, and they're riding you and not giving you enough time to do your work properly and professionally, then you need to go somewhere where you can be a professional and not add to this descending acceptable level of expectations for a registered pharmacist to work at. Have some pride in your profession! How does safeway get so many pharmacists who are so overworked and so angry and so unable to complete their work correctly? It's a tragedy that people can't get their medicine without dealing with the low level of professionalism in the pharmacy. I feel really bad for the people that come there who have disabilities, who can't get what they want because the people at the front counter tell them whatever they want just to get rid of them. it is unethical to fail to explain what is happening and understand your customer's needs. And it is both unethical and against the law to fail to accommodate people who need different communication or different ways to understand what they need to about the medication that they take because they have an ill illness. I will continue to look for a pharmacy that has pharmacist who takes their job and their responsibilities seriously. Pharmacists train for many years and apparently many do not have a backbone to defend the proper practices of professional pharmacy. it must feel terrible to have an advanced degree in the health field and be working in a dirty, poorly run, half of a pharmacy and have no say whatsoever about what happens in the pharmacy. and the corporation cares so much, that their menu to call and talk to them DOES NOT work.

I appreciate the team here and also appreciate the pharmacy hours being 9-9 most days. This helps me a lot with my own work schedule. I know how stressful pharmacy work can be. The team here is doing a great job. Thank you for not minding me calling to check in on my refills and stock of said medication, since it is so often on backorder in the country due to manufacturing limitations. I appreciate all of you, including Natalie.
