One of my previous fillings from a different dentist split in half. I called around to numerous places in Vancouver for emergency dental services, and was on hold for 44 minutes without an answer. I decided to drive into this location after seeing it on Google Maps. I walked in as they were closing but they were happy to help me after their normal hours. Dr. Ridder and Ann worked with me patiently as I wrestled with my insurance company. They identified the issue and did not pressure me to make any decisions, empathized with the cost of procedures, and made sure not to do anything that was unnecessary.
They were great. Empathetic, helpful, and patient. I highly recommend going here for any dental emergency you may have.

Dr. Linda Ridder is fantastic! She is very compassionate and explains everything very well. She also discusses options, future dental care needs and is just really kind (and I cried and trembled through the procedure- severe dental anxiety) and she talked me through the whole procedure and was extremely caring and patient. I highly recommend her - a gracious and true professional!
After my Wednesday visit I bought dental insurance and made sure that Dr. Ridder was on the list of providers, which she was and is “A” ranked - I’m not surprised!!

So on Thursday may 30th, I had an Abscessed tooth come in outta no where, didn’t hurt to bad the first day and o thought I would be able to deal with the pain until after the weekend. Well the next day I woke up and wanted to die, my mouth doubled in size in one day, had so much pain it literally brought me to tears, after going to the urgent care by my house they told me that it was so bad that someone would have to drain it for anything to happen, so they sent me to the er to pay a way more expensive co pay just for the er to tell me that they can’t do anything a gave me antibiotics, needless to say urgent care messed up big time, so that same Friday I started the antibiotics and I thought hopefully everything would be all good. Well that Friday night, I did not sleep one bit at all. The pain was so Excruciating that I was getting headaches and light headedness. So I stayed up all night until I could call some dentists. All the places I cal were full and non of them could do anything. I finally got ahold of emergency tooth doctor and they said they had an opening at 11am. So I show up there thinking that there isn’t going to be much that they can do besides X-ray it. I got there filled out the paper work and dr ridder told me there is a chance that she wouldn’t be able to take it out until the swelling goes down because she might not be able to numb me, so we X-rayed it and it was the tooth that I thought, and she asked if I wanted to try to numb it to take it out and I consented to it. She ended up getting me numb enough not to feel anything. And we started the procedure. I didn’t feel anything, just pressure. By the time we were done I was only in there for 45 minutes to an hour. This was the nicest dentist I have ever been to. The whole time dr ridder was only worried about me and making sure I was comfortable, and her assistant was amazing as well, making sure I was okay and even going out of there way to put stuff on my
Lips to make sure they didn’t crack. I had also brought my uncle to drive me home. And he was sitting the complaining about being hungry, they were so nice that they had offered to feed him. I have never been to a dentist place that was so nice and friendly to every body. And they did all this while I didn’t have insurance. Needless to say, this is the only
Place I’ll go to, to work on my mouth. Thank you dr ridder and everybody there
