  I deal with whitecoat syndrome and get really nervous at Dr. Offices. I was here for my CDL renewal. Its always a challenge. Nikki at the front desk was great helping me get checked in and setup. Shayla who took me to the back to do all the test is amazing. She helped me through every step of the process putting my mind at ease. She really knows how to work with people and to help make them feel more confident and comfortable. I recommend concentra tacoma for anyone needing extra help. Thank you Team at Concentra!

  Concentra in Tacoma was great' Elizabeth n Whitney the MAs were fr.iendly' n professional n respectful' the Doctor was thorough n very pleasant' It was very busy there but they got me checked in and all done with my physical within an hour' and when i walked back in 2 days later for them to read TB' it took 5 minutes...I recommend them fully' ill definately use them again in the future😁

  Im basing my 5 stars on multiple visits! When I say multiple visits! I mean that I basically switch jobs every 3 months and I always come to concentra to do so! All of my visits consist of different days of the week. Times, procedures! Its rare to see the clinic not packed but the employees front or back office has always been professional and fast! I can honestly say for the past few years concentra has been a good employment drug testing clinic. Don't let the negative reviews scare you away from the clinic. I was always in and out in less than 30 minutes for each visits! Thank you for all the hard work! Ill probably do another employee drug testing again in few months because I just can't stick to the same job. It gets boring hhaah

  This urgent care does DOT exams and the drug testing for many companies and that seems to be the bulk of their business. I was an injured employee that sat in their lobby for hours waiting for treatment while this testing was continously in process and given priority. I watched dozens of people get their treatment or business done before my injury seen on both visits there.

  I had a very disappointing experience here. I called two hours in advance on a Saturday morning to confirm the clinic could handle the specific work-related injury services I needed. I was assured they could and even faxed over the necessary paperwork ahead of time. When I arrived, I checked in, completed additional paperwork, and waited about 40 minutes. Then a nurse (or medical staff member) came to the front desk and told me they actually couldn’t perform the service that day and that I’d have to come back Monday. I explained that I had called ahead and confirmed this exact thing, but was told, “The girls up front don’t know everything we can do here.” That kind of miscommunication shouldn’t happen—especially in a medical setting. If front-desk staff are responsible for confirming what services are available, they need to be properly informed or have a way to verify. I ended up going to the ER instead. Hopefully management addresses this training and communication issue so other patients don’t have the same experience.
