I don't usually leave reviews, but I had such a wonderful experience today at Safeway Pharmacy that I had to share. The woman who helped me, Verenna (according to my receipt), was amazing! I had been stressing and struggling with my insurance for days, trying to figure out how to get my prescription filled. She was so helpful and kind and was able to get it filled for me. Verenna, if you see this, you’re the best! 💗

I have used them for a year now and never had problems with them. The pharmacist has alway been helpful and expedited needed meds. They txt me when meds ready which saves me time.

This pharmacy is the most unorganized business I ever used. There should be MINUS STARS for service this bad. I had to go 3 TIMES to get my first (and last!) prescription filled and still only had a fraction of the pills in the bottle. The staff DID NOT tell me they didn't have enough to fill the prescription until I was handed the bottle! The nice redhaired girl at the counter had to look in 10 different bins for each prescription, so there's a poor method of the pharmiscist to even sort them to be picked up. I was told the first time I waited in line that the order would be ready in an hour. 3 HOURs later, it still wasn't ready, so they said come back (to wait in line again) in 30 minutes. When I came back, it still wasn't ready and they said it needed to be counted. BY the time I got my prescription PARTIALLY filled with only enough for 3 days, my bad right knee hurt from standing in line so long 3 different times and the tendinitis in my left foot was aching. They told me I still have to go back late the next day to get the rest of the prescription! NEVER again will I use ANY Safeway pharmacy. The pharmacist filling the order in front of me ----with very short boy-cut white hair----tossed my pill bottle into a basket and slammed down the basket. Maybe their cameras caught that on tape. Even if the prescription costs a lot more at Walgreens, I will go there in the future.
