My mother has lived at Brookdale for 5+ years and she loves the staff, food and is pleased with the facility. Prior to living at Brookdale my mother was at a senior care facility in Enumclaw and it was terrible. My mother complained about the food, the staff and how she was treated. My family took Mom out of the facility in Enumclaw and moved her to Brookdale. Mom loves Brookdale and so does my family. Brookdale South is a premier senior care facility and I would recommend Brookdale South to anyone looking for senior care.

- LLLeoApr 17, 20192.0Walked in to sit down with an actual person to ask questions regarding the facility and what they may offer the residents, as a potential caregiver. Upon walking in, I noticed residents were piled into a small area and caregivers were not interacting with anyone. The room felt of misery and gloom while residents were just kind of sitting there with no actual interaction with anyone. How are they being taken care of i wondered if no one was really getting involved with the residents themselves. I tried to ask about what the facility offers to two different people as the first didnt quite know how to answer my question. The second stated for me to just visit the website. I walked out right after that. How is this place to provide any type of professional care, if people who are interested in working alongside them, dont even want to be bothered with providing information face-to-face. Honestly from the little I saw from what was being provided to the residents during the time i was in the lobby, I wouldnt want my relatives to stay here. 2 stars for the grounds at least being presentable.
