- PKPete KinyuaDec 8, 20251.0I arrived at the clinic at 07.35 am for work related physical exam. Was alllowed to get in at 07.45 am with the other 4 gentlemen who had come befoe me. Checked in and was told to wait to be called in. Here comes the wait... at 10:15am, with so many people coming and leaving me there. I tried asking what was going on, but was told, "you just sit and wait you will be called in." I was let in, they assessed my vitL sign, collected my urine and then I was led to a patient room. Then came another wait. After every few minutes someone would come to tell me that the doctor will be with you shortly. 2 hours down the line at 1200 noon, the lady doctor came in checked my eyes, ears, told me to do a few stretching, checked my reflexes, and in less than 15 minutes (@12.15pm)she was done with my physical. I am a Registered Nurse myself infact I had come straight from work since I work night shift. This was particularly annoying, ridiculous and over the top of anything I have ever seen or experienced before. I am still trying to figure out the cause for my long stay whereas everyone else was attended in minutes... maybe something might have escaped my notice......and not even a "sorry we kept you for too long! 5 hours is a long time.....
