I reached out to Dr. Castagna's office and someone got back to me right away. Even though I was not a current patient, they worked me into their schedule, on their lunch hour, and even helped me make arrangements to board my puppy when it became clear I would need to go off island for treatment. They referred me to a specialist in Bellingham, where I received excellent treatment the very next day. In short, Dr. Castagna and his staff were responsive, helpful, and reassuring. They made a very distressing situation much more manageable for me. Assuming they are accepting new patients, I will definitely continue to receive my regular eye care there. It is a relief to know there is such a high quality eye care provider on island.

He found and removed some foreign objects on my eyelid after which my condition immediately turned around and has been improving, and I am extremely appreciative of the care he provided. Through the surgery he explained every step of the prosses to remove metal and a rust ring from my pupil. I was completely comfortable during the prosses and would highly recommend this clinic to everyone.
- LWLindsay WatkinsJul 3, 20215.0I have struggled for years (and spent hundreds of dollars) trying to find a pair of glasses that I can wear comfortably for more than 5 minutes, but despite trying to explain my discomfort to multiple ophthalmologists, optometrists, and opticians, no one has ever been able to correctly fit me for glasses that don't give me weird headaches and make me dizzy. Dr. White found the right frames for me in about 30 seconds and now I have glasses I can happily wear all day when I don't want to wear contacts. Dr. White is great and Julia was also really helpful. Getting an appointment was easy, and so was ordering more contacts and my glasses. Very glad to have great eye care on our little island!
