I told the PA I have Severe white coat syndrome and the first blood pressure reading was high and I expected that the second was taken, and it had come down, but this new PA didn’t seem to care and the exam went down hill from there. I’m 6’ and 225 lbs and told I needed to lose weight and have a sleep study. Always have had PA Card and he has a much better bedside manner and knows how to relax a person and take three blood pressure readings to understand how stressful these CLD exams can be for someone who’s job and insurance is on the line. The PA I had for this exam had the bedside manner of an executioner seemed in a hurry and irritated that I couldn’t remember the amount of my medication but I could remember the names. My hands are tied take a sleep evaluation and 3 months ticket. I’ve always gotten two or one year medical ticket. Now I’m wondering if I’ll make it two more years till retirement. I intend to bring my medical records from my primary care doctor who I see every year to show my history and hopefully I won’t get the same PA next time.
Every time I think of having to go back to this clinic gives me a feeling of dread now. Hopefully I’ll make it two more years and will never have to set foot in there again.

The main doctor is great! Absolutely adore him. But the front desk staff is exhausting to say the least. 2 out of 3 visits I've needed for this injury have been a joke thanks to them. I had scheduled an appointment over the phone for my first visit. When I went to check in, they told me I definitely do not have an appointment with them and would have to wait despite the fact that I was told over the phone "come in on this day and time". Waited an hour, whatever. More-so annoyed that I was spoken to as if I was stupid for thinking I had an appointment. Second visit was fine.
My final visit had me in the waiting room for an hour yet again. This time because they actually forgot I was there. Thought I had been called back awhile ago. I was only able to get my stitches removed today after going up to the desk and asking them when they intended to see me. It was 30min til close at that point and I had watched everyone that walked in after me get taken back.
Very glad I don't have to deal with the front desk staff again.
