I am just now leaving the Pharmacy… the interaction and the way I was just treated by Ivy, the woman checking me out was absolutely horrible! It’s my first and last time using this pharmacy. Ivy seriously needs to be retrained on how to communicate with people! Even just asking me for my birthday, I could immediately feel how much she hates her job and didn’t want to help me.
I work in customer service and I am always respectful and understanding. I get it everyone has a bad day, however projecting that onto other people is not it, at all!

Absolutely terrible service and really rude workers. I had to come back 3 times in one day for a prescription because they kept messing up.
They won't fill your prescription without an insurance on file so dont expect it to be ready when you get there if you're paying with cash.

This location keeps not processing or filling my prescriptions because I am a veteran using VA coverage. They do not contact me to tell me they aren’t filling my prescriptions either or that there’s a supposed issue with my insurance. Or apparently review notes that I’ve agreed to pay out of pocket repeatedly for this same prescription. After they “sort it out” they blow me off and tell me it’ll be a few more hours. 3rd time in 30 days.
Edit to add - the assistant at the counter knew my rx was ready and refused to let me know despite me sitting right in front of the pharmacy and waiting area like I was instructed to and was very rude

I have been going to the Safeway Pharmacy for maybe ten years now. Of all the pharmacies in the area that I have tried this is the best for customer service. I always feel seen when I go there and heard when I have a question. Some who have been there for a while will greet me even when they are not working the counter. Every time I have had a question or concern, I have gotten an answer.... maybe not a solution... like when the app has glitches and I need help with a refill.

Went to take my client to get the vaccines and the lady who helped us was just rude the entire time and we were just doing what we were told. Then said we needed to wait till next month. I get why but we were doing what were told by doctors. They had just opened, there is a sign that says “walk in welcome” so I we went up and said just that and she was all rude about how they don’t do walking right after opening. If that’s the case it need be advertised as well. My client will not be coming back. I may not either if I have similar issues in the future. It doesn’t take a whole lot to just be nice. And they just opened and so it wasn’t like the lady had been working for hours and dealing with mean customers. We were the second people she helped, and the first guy she helped she was just fine too. I don’t know why had to get the third degree.
