  Alright first off this place is a massive SCAM. I have asked for a refund and they “processed it” so far I have gotten nothing so hopefully I get my money back. So my story is I have not done an eye exam in over 10 years I never needed to as my prescription has always pretty much been the same. On October 4th my glasses I have had forever broke so I started researching and calling places. All the ones I called did not have an eye doctor on site you had to go somewhere else for that. So then I saw Stanton’s deal two glasses for 79 bucks and a free eye exam. Sweet deal. So I call them up and the guy who answered is overly professional, like he was faking it. I didn’t think too much of it though. He sets me up for an appointment for the 7th boom good to go. I pull up the person their takes some of my info takes me back checks me eyes with her machines and then takes me back to the exam room. This is where things get weird but I didn’t think too much of it cause I haven’t been in so long and like I said the places I called didn’t even have a Dr on site so maybe things had changed. So she puts on the eye thing to see what I can see and the doctor is virtual and foreign. Dude starts checking my eyes seeing what I can see and at some points he’s like ok we are checking your left eye now what do you see and i am like am i suppose to close my right or leave both open? Dude started getting mad at me after awhile. So after we get done the person who checked my eyes with her machines makes my glasses which took like 30 minutes. I put them on they look fine I can see out of them but I can’t see that far away and the glasses are making me dizzy and causing me a headache. I think nothing of it though as maybe it’s the adjustment period. I take them off as I drive back home and wear them on and off throughout the week as they are causing me massive headaches and I can’t see far away with them on. I call up my mom the other day and send her the prescription the “doctor” gave me and she says yup I am willing to put money on that prescription being definitely wrong and that place is a scam as your prescription I remember was not anywhere close as what these people put you down at. So I start researching Stanton optical scam and Stanton optical prescription wrong and these people have so many complaints even with the BBB that it isn’t even funny. Even former employees are calling them out for being a massive scam. Now if that doesn’t make you not want to come here well they have literally been sued for being a scam! So I got down their yesterday to return my glasses and ask for a refund they ask me why I give them the reason and it takes them 15 minutes to figure out how to even process a refund. Like seriously? The entire time a “doctor” and the employee are talking to each other trying to figure it out saying we may need to call, while I just sit their like are you kidding me? So they finally end up giving me a “refund receipt” and well I still don’t see a refund in my bank account so I mean hopefully I get one. Now on top of all of that their 2 glasses deal for 79 bucks is highly deceiving. It is actually each pair is 79 bucks so your total will actually be around 160 bucks for two pairs unless you pick higher priced pairs of glasses that they offer then of course you pay higher. So instead of 79 bucks I got charged 160. I still don’t even have my refund either

  My visit went amazing! The staff was amazing and very attentive to what I needed. They went above and beyond and in 1 week and half I got my glasses in. Highly recommend this place!

  If I could give 10 stars I would. I visiting from out of state and when I was in the ocean, my glasses got lost at 3:30pm on a Saturday. I called Stanton optical. They got me an appointment in less than an hour and in less than two hours I walked out with two brand new pairs of glasses. I cannot stress how awesome this place is I recommend it 10 out of 10.

  Highly recommend! All of the staff here is amazing, attentive, and made the whole process from exam through selecting frames lenses etc as smooth as possibly could have been. Thank you Stanton
