  I highly recommend Brookdale for anyone needing care for their loved one. My father is safe, cared for, loved and truly happy there. I never have to worry about him. My family could not be more pleased with Brookdale. They have been a true blessing for us.

  Admission Process is Unprofessional. They talk a great game about how they can help and they are very responsive in the beginning but after they met my dad they delayed a decision for over a week and kept us in limbo even though the assessment person said she thought it would be fine and the regional approval would only take a day. Finally after a week I received an email saying admission was denied. Very unprofessional process and communication and unnecessary delays.

  Brookdale Roanoke is a wonderful place for mom or dad. The staff is friendly and very connected to residents. Currently, my mother-in-law is residing here, and we are very happy with her care. My mother (who has passed) was a resident there from 2009-2011, and was well taken care of. The nurses and the office staff are very easy to work with you on requests for your loved one. I would recommend Brookdale Roanoke to anyone who is looking for Dementia care in the Roanoke Valley area.

  My sweet mother-in-law lived at Brookdale for over 3 years until she passed away this December 2018. The Brookdale staff was always kind and caring to her and to me. The management team was always available to discuss any worries or concerns I had. They truly loved and cared for my mother-in-law like she was their grandmother. Another plus was the size of the facility. It is smaller and I think folks there get more personalized attention. It was the BEST memory care facility that we ever dealt with.
