- JRJamie Rodriguez5 days ago2.0Have usually had good experiences in the past, but haven’t been in two years so the procedures were pretty new to me again. Went for a 3:50pm appointment today that I had to beg to leave work early for. Arrived on time and was told to just “sit down and wait” by front desk staff through the intercom at the front door. I sit and wait an hour, thinking they’re just backed up and I didn’t want to bother them. 6pm rolls around and the front desk worker asks if I ever came up to the desk and I told her what exactly she instructed me to do. She apologizes for instructing me wrong, said it’s been a busy day and tried to reschedule me but I just can’t take more time off of my M-F 9-5 work, and no availability on weekends so ultimately I just had to leave and hope I’m not sick. I appreciate this service very much and understand every workplace is busy but I’m disappointed there was no call or check-up about my appointment well after my scheduled time had passed. I was expecting at least a “we’re waiting for you” call or something. Writing this as a precaution to others: don’t be as patient as I was. I should’ve been more assertive but the staff completely skipping over my appointment with no communication/warning is very upsetting.

The friendly staff up front and the medical staff in the back who went above and beyond with answering my questions and getting me checked in and out 3. Whitney, FNP, for spending upwards of thirty minutes in the exam room with me to ask plenty of relevant questions to make sure the issue I came for is accurately addressed. For your understanding when I got emotional, for the care and kindness you showed towards me. This Planned Parenthood provides much needed accesible health care for both men and women that alleviated a 3+ week wait at the other location. Super convenient from 95, parking directly out front and the side street next to the library.
