This new portal and the EVV system is horrific. I can no longer view the entire week of time entries causing me to go back and forth through multiple tabs and pages. And even worse, the care providers are continuously being gigged as "non-compliant" for everything they do such as a minor correction to a time entry or delays due to DMAS's incompetent authorization delays. This system needs to be completely eliminated and start over by creating a simpler tool for both care providers and EOR's.

The New Web Portal for CDCN does not allow the individual submitting hours worked to see all the information necessary. The dashboard should also have the ability to see the whole work period hours submitted as the old dashboard did.

My experience with Consumer Direct has been extremely negative. For the past three months, I have been trying to get paid, and every time I call, I receive a different excuse or story. I’ve had to call almost daily, and instead of resolving the issue, staff repeatedly tell me things like “the paperwork isn’t correct ,” “we needs your email address,” or “we’ll call you back in 24–48 hours.” Despite countless requests, I have never been able to speak directly with a supervisor.
The lack of training and accountability is alarming. Employees give inconsistent information from one day to the next, and no one seems to take responsibility. When I submitted my hours, they were denied without a valid reason. In reality, my client lost coverage in December 2024, regained eligibility in August 2025, and services restarted in January 2025. I even have an official letter from social services approving those back hours, yet Consumer Direct still refused to honor them. When I tried to explain this, an employee named Ashley B dismissed my explanation and denied my claim.
I have escalated this issue to my senator and contacted my lawyers because I believe the denial was unjust and based on false information. The company’s refusal to provide proper supervision, training, or consistent communication has caused me significant stress and financial hardship.
In my opinion, Consumer Direct needs serious oversight and accountability. No one should have to fight this hard just to be paid for legitimate work. I would strongly caution others against working with this company until they improve their practices.

I love my job and what I do but I do not like this new web portal at all...as far as the company they are good but changing things that don't need to be changed is what I have a problem with....I was always taught if isn't broken don't fix it...I liked it the way it was.

This 5 star is for Mrs.Rogers. Since May I’ve been calling trying to get services for my grandmother started. Nobody has been as kind went over and beyond and as knowledgeable as Mrs.Rogers. She was very prompt, efficient, correct and on her feet with things. I really was thinking of switching companies but Mrs.Rogers really gave me hope yesterday and explained detail for detail on what needed to be corrected properly. If I could 10 stars I would! What a pleasure to have on a companies teams. She really made my day yesterday.
