They don’t judge you for falling short on dental hygiene and encourage you to make better choices. Mara the assistant is incredibly patient and the receptionist at the Virginia Beach site was instrumental in rescuing me from the pain of an acute broken tooth. Thank you to the whole team for your efforts!!!

My first visit went so much better than I thought. The staff made me feel comfortable and worked with my anxiety. There were several times I could tell they were paying attention to all of me and not just my mouth. Upon entering the office I encountered Julie at the front desk. She greeted me with a smile and was friendly. During my exam, the dental assistant Amhara took her time getting my x-rays. If one did not come out the way she wanted, she did it again. She was gentle and communicated with me about what she was doing. She explained what levels of sedation and how that worked. She was excellent. Jamila is my hygienist and definitely made me feel at ease as well. She also took the time to explain the different levels of sedation. She explained everything that she was doing and checked in with me throughout her part of the exam. She was wonderful. Dr. Austin Son was great too. He took his time with me and educated me on what was going on currently and what I needed to do for the future. He had a calm and gentle presence. After my exam, the staff made my treatment plan. I met Cheyenne, the office manager, who had a print out of what my insurance covered and what I would owe. She broke everything down and explained it. She also was able to get my first 2 appointments in quickly. I was shocked how quickly I was able to get in. She was pleasant and very helpful. Overall, I highly recommend Advanced Sedation Dentistry!

Not once did they send a bill or any type of professional looking request for payment via normal correspondence The text had my name misspelled so I would not click on the link out of caution. Very unprofessional and would advise to steer clear of this practice.
