I recently needed some labs and a physical and was referred to Concentra. They only allowed walk ins for my specific needs and the wait did take over an hour, however once I was seen everything progressed quickly. The medical assistant did everything in her power to move me along. She was efficient, and kind when drawing my blood. She took her time and made sure I understood all instructions. The doctor was concise and thorough. He reviewed my labs and asked pertinent questions. I had a good experience and would recommend this facility.

I have to go for work test every 3 months, due to contract work. I have been to some not great on to say the least. It was the day after Christmas. There was actually a lot of people that needed to be seen. The staff were friendly and informative. They let me know what was going on. I needed to have labs drawn that have to be sent out by a specific time. They got me in. Sadly I can’t recall the lady who did my drug test and blood work. She was amazing. I really appreciated them being fast, friendly, efficient and respectful.

This is a busy place, people constantly need to do employment screenings and such. The staff here was wonderful at keeping everyone organized and taken care of. I thought I’d have a 2 hour wait but the staff looked through everything and efficiently got me in and out of there within an hour!

I am not one to leave negative reviews often, but I felt the need to share my experience. I came here for a simple drug test for employment and ended up waiting two hours after being told the wait would only be 45 minutes. Being expected to wait two hours with a full bladder is ridiculous. When I asked whether I was allowed to leave and come back, or choose a different facility, the staff responded with hostility and acted as if my questions were bothersome. Others who were also waiting for a drug test asked to use the bathroom and were denied, being told to wait even longer.
Once it was finally my turn, the urinalysis staff were quick and efficient. However, the front desk staff could use much improvement on their customer service skills. While waiting, I checked the reviews and saw several complaints about wait times of up to eight hours for drug screenings. It appears the owners of Concentra respond only to the few positive reviews while refusing to address the overwhelming number of complaints about long wait times and rude staff.

The facility gets the job done. But the customer service from some of the technicians that do the testing leaves much to be desired. For example, in my recent visit I had a female technician (wears dreadlocks) who clearly does not like her job or maybe the customer service aspect of her job. Her tone and body language was impatient and short. I really wanted to switch technicians but didn’t want to run the risk of my tests not being performed properly. Which brings me to my next point- She incorrectly took my blood pressure by placing the cuff over my sweater despite my attempting to take it off. (This can cause elevated pressures up to 50 mmhg). She actually appeared annoyed with me, because I didn’t follow her instructions initially which validated my concerns. The rest of the staff was actually pleasant, but the wait is extremely long. You will be there for hours so pack your patience and a book.
