Visit the Planned Parenthood health center in Washington Terrace, UT for emergency contraception (morning after pill), pregnancy testing, STD treatment, birth control, and sexual and reproductive health care.
Poor bedside manner, condescending, not trauma informed, very poor customer service. They refused to use my insurance information without the physical card, charged me out of pocket, and now their billing department is refunding me and billing my insurance with the information I presented at the clinic. The waiting room was empty and my appointment took an hour. If women’s health appointments are triggering for you, do not go here.

They're very available for alot of various different appointment times and services, including calling for questions or by the least calling you back. Their website for checking up on any updates after your appointment is very clear. I was worried sick after having to do a Std/STI panel that I would experience an uncomfortable process and that the staff might not be as comforting, however they were far more understanding and helpful than a majority of regular hospital visits ive ever done including ER emergencies. I greatly recommend this location, it may take a few moments for them to call you up for your appointment but it isn't as terrible as some make it to be. I called them later for a follow up question regarding some medication and they answered me thoroughly with respect. And there are very available options for those like myself that have low income, so dont be afraid to have your services here even without insurance. Will be returning again. :)

I went with my daughter to get an iud to treat her heavy menstrual periods. The MA was so nice and informative but once the provider came in, the energy was off. The whole visit with her she kept talking down on the procedure and making me and my daughter (patient) seem like this would be the worst thing my daughter could get. Almost like she was trying to convince us to opt out of it. After not going through the procedure. She told my daughter she could try another option instead, at that moment she gave us reading material to decide which one to do and she left the room. We then went to the front desk and asked the MA to let her provider know we decided on the patch and if she could send it to her pharmacy. But we were told to make another appointment. She could not prescribe it after all. The front desk said the reason why is to go over medical history and medications but that was actually already done before the iud was supposed to be done earlier. I wish the provider would be more caring and had a better bedside manner. That visit was such a disappointment. I do not recommend anyone going there.

I came in a week ago and the girl at the front desk was giving one worded answers, and seemed like she didn't wanna be there so l immediately felt unwelcome and judged. She also didn't welcome me into the clinic. I noticed that when she got up she was limping but whoever she is I hope she gets retrained if she’s going to be like that
