  Disappointing care and poor communication. I’ve been on the same mild medication and with Jordan Family Medicine since 2014 with no issues, no flagged labs, and no changes in my medical history. I get annual blood work through my OB-GYN (including earlier this year), so there was no medical reason for additional labs. Still, Dr. Jones refused to send a refill without it, with no explanation, and used it as a reason to force another visit. I had just seen him in February for a different refill but forgot to ask for this one. Rather than helping, he treated it as an opportunity to hold my refill hostage unless I came in again, I don’t believe he actually cares, bc his appointments are rushed (5 minutes or less?). When I called to ask why I needed to come in for bloodwork, the MA didn’t explain. Then hung up on me after I told her I would think about it bc it feels like he is trying to make a buck. I couldn’t even ask if I could send over my other lab results bc his MA (who called for him) wasn’t listening. Then I received a cold text message from Dr. Jones dismissing me as a patient, without any attempt to clarify or have a real conversation. He said in a text that I can’t reply to “..I think this way you will be reassured that I will not make any money from your care.” Dr. Jones, I’m now more convinced that billing as many patients as possible and quickly is what you are motivated by. Had you have called me and acted professionally, explained why I needed bloodwork, I would have listened. I believe I am a reasonable person, nothing like this has ever happened to me before. So I’m… baffled. It felt like a transactional relationship, not medical care, more focused on billing than actually supporting long-term patients. I’ll take this as an opportunity to find a new doctor, and I will def read reviews first, my mistake.

  Dr Lee is the best doctor I have ever had. I hope she never moves. She is attentive, and truly cares about my well being. If you want or need a new doctor, look no further! I’ve always been able to get in to see her relatively quickly.

  Dr.Lee is literally the best Doctor I have ever seen . She is so incredibly patient, kind, caring, thorough, and attentive. Her MA Emily is also really great. Dr.Lee always takes her time to listen to my concerns and is always empathetic and goes above and beyond to help however she can. I will definitely be a lifetime patient of hers. I am so incredibly grateful that I have found such an amazing PCP!
