My child sees Dr. Kathy Garcia and we've appreciated her kind and effective approach over the years. Today we saw Dr. Sam Zarbock since Garcia didn't have openings for an urgent appointment. He was kind and thorough, and validated our need for a special circumstance due to special needs making regular treatment options difficult. As a mother, this made me feel heard and supported. I appreciated his willingness to discuss all possible options with the other doctors in the office. Dominick who did the initial check in before seeing the doctor was also very friendly and thorough.

I lived in Utah for 21 years and Copperview took good care of my 3 children and I the entire time! I felt like I could always get an appointment when I needed one, we probably saw every practitioner that worked there since 2002. I moved out of the country 2.5 years ago and had a situation that I was (and still am) extremely concerned about. I didn't think Copperview or their practitioners would be able to help with my concern but I didn't know where else to turn. I spent nearly an hour on the phone, mostly with Monique, trying to come up with possible options to assist in the complicated matter. She was knowledgeable and professional but more importantly patient and compassionate. She could have easily ended the call after a few minutes with "I'm sorry ma'am, we can't help with this situation." Instead she listened and offered empathy and support to my desperate requests. At the end of the call I asked what her position was and she said she was an experienced receptionist. She handled my call, which ended up with me getting emotional at the end, with what I would think was the skill of a top notch 911 operator! I don't know the words to fully express my praise and gratitude for Monique!

The provider and medical assistant were great and delivered high-quality care. However, my experience with the front desk staff was disappointing. The receptionists appeared distracted and more focused on their phones than on assisting patients. One receptionist was scrolling on her phone while handing me paperwork, and I was asked the same question multiple times. Throughout the check-in process, they continued to converse and laugh among themselves about something on their phones, while I was at the front desk, which came across as unprofessional and inattentive.

Less than impressed. The receptionists were kind, the person who took me to my room (assuming an MA?) was attentive. The only reason for the one star.
I had a few skin concerns including on my back, torso, underarms and face, in addition to a couple other concerns. They didn’t provide me a gown or expectation for inspection. The MA told me “(first name)” would be in. Not sure his credentials or level of training or certification. He came in and asked me what was going on then asked to inspect the areas I was concerned with and asked me “gloves or no gloves?” Which I found odd and uncomfortable. I also just had to lift and shift my shirt to reveal the areas to be seen. Also uncomfortable. He told me I may have shingles and chalked the rest up to acne, essentially, and gave no advice or recommendation for care.
I got worse the next few days and went to a different health care provider and was diagnosed with shingles all around my torso, underarm and back, as well as pre cancer on my face. Seems like big things to miss. That provider offered me care (prescription anti viral and topical ointment for pain) for the shingles and took care of my pre-cancer. Will not be going back to CopperView again.
