The BYU Health Center is a great resource, but the onboarding and appointment scheduling was repetitive and rough. I wanted to get a flu shot as a student. They had posters on campus with a scheduling link that had 0 slots available, might not have been set up correctly. I went to their website and their login is separate from the regular netid sso. So I tried creating an account and it wouldn't let me. Then I called them during business hours, scheduled an appointment, and gave them my insurance info. My insurance info is up to date in the mybyu portal, but apparently they can't access that. Then I got an email that I needed to re enter the same info in an online questionnarie. Then I got to the clinic for my appointment and I logged in but needed to enter my insurance number and address and other info a third time. I probably spent a total of two hours online or on the phone leading up to this. Then it took 5 minutes flat to actually do the flu shot, super smooth. Then I get an email three weeks later asking for photos of my insurance card and other information I had already provided thrice prior. They also sent three separate text messages (on the day of appointment, two days later, and one week later) requesting to make a Google Maps review via onlinerevue so here I am Since I'm ranting about this, the physical layout of the lot is also unintuitive to pedestrians. There is no entry to the parking lot directly adjacent to the Univ Pkwy / 900 E crosswalk. You either have to walk halfway past the building on 900 E to get to a spring-closed metal gate, or wrap around to Wymount Dr where the sidewalk becomes the driveway and exceeds the ADA cross slope spec.

Dr Wilmore and his staff were ever conscious of our needs and sensitivities. Their attention to detail was exceptional as they explained each detail of our examinations. What a wonderful experience.

The staff at the BYU Health Center were all amazing. From scheduling with Laura to our nurse Anna and meeting Dr. Willmore, everything was such a pleasant experience. With two small toddlers and having to have Visa medical exams completed, I could not be happier with this office and our experience. Thank you all for making this step so easy!
