Frequently Asked Questions About Utah Denture & Implant Center
How much do dental implants cost?>
The cost of dental implants depends on a few factors, including how many implants you need and the type of implant used. Mini dental implants are often a more affordable option, costing about half as much as traditional implants due to their simpler placement process.
At your free consultation, we’ll evaluate your specific needs, determine the costs, and explain all your options. We also offer flexible financing to ensure you can achieve the healthy, confident smile you deserve without added stress.
Can dental implants be done in one day?
Traditional implants often require a longer timeline, as they may involve preparatory procedures like bone grafting and several months of healing before the final restoration is placed. The full process can take 8 months to a year.
Mini dental implants, on the other hand, often allow for same-day placement thanks to their “immediate loading” capability. This means the implants are stable enough to support a restoration as soon as they’re placed. For eligible patients, this means they can leave our office with a secure, natural-looking smile—all in just one visit.
Can most people get dental implants?
Most people are eligible for dental implants, but candidacy depends on a few key factors.
Ideal candidates should have sufficient jawbone density to support the implant, have good overall health, and maintain excellent oral hygiene. They should also be fit for oral surgery and effectively manage medical conditions like diabetes. Smoking can slow the healing process and increase the risk of complications, so we carefully consider it during your evaluation.
While age is typically not a barrier for older adults with good health, dental implants are usually avoided in patients under 18 due to ongoing facial development.
