I had lymphatic drainage massage with cupping to help with recovery after a mommy makeover surgery and it was a great experience. I felt well informed through the process and very relaxed. I would highly recommend this service, especially if you're recovering from a surgical procedure.

Frequently Asked Questions About Health In Motion Chiropractic
Who should see a chiropractor?
Chiropractors are trained to see the entire population ranging from newborns and pregnant mothers to geriatric patients. Though the philosophy remains the same for each patient, chiropractors utilize techniques fitting each patient’s needs and body types.
What do chiropractors do?
Chiropractors, by nature, are doctors that focus on the human nervous system. Chiropractors are also effective in treating many musculoskeletal issues which may manifest as extremity problems, back pain, neck pain, tension headaches, and other spine injuries.
What is a chiropractic adjustment?
A chiropractic adjustment is a procedure in which trained specialists (chiropractors) use their hands or a small instrument to apply a controlled impulse of force to a spinal joint. The objective is to reposition a misaligned spinal joint to improve joint function, restore posture and optimize neurological function allowing the brain to communicate effectively with the rest of the body. Patients will ideally find body and back pain relief.
Will one or two chiropractic adjustments completely remove my pain?
In some cases, instant relief following an adjustment(s) is possible; however, as with most conditions, it takes time for the body to heal. Depending on the severity and duration, most conditions treated by chiropractors can be resolved within a 6-12 week care plan created by your physician. If a proper resolution is not met, a referral to another provider can be made.
Can I adjust myself?
Chiropractors receive extensive training to adjust in a very specific location and direction to provide body and back pain relief. As a result, it is nearly impossible to recreate an accurate correction on your own or by an untrained individual.
Why should I see a chiropractor if I'm not in pain?
It is common to believe that individuals visit chiropractors when they are only in pain. However, just like checkups for your dental health, it is important to get your spine assessed by a chiropractor periodically even if no symptoms are present. Wellness or maintenance care is an important preventative measure to assist in injury prevention and healthy functioning nervous system.
Who should see a chiropractor?
Chiropractors treat patients of all ages, from newborns and pregnant mothers to elderly individuals, tailoring techniques to each patient's needs.
What conditions can chiropractors treat at Health In Motion Chiropractic?
They focus on the nervous system and treat musculoskeletal issues such as back pain, neck pain, extremity problems, tension headaches, and spine injuries.
What is a chiropractic adjustment and its benefits?
It's a controlled force applied to spinal joints to reposition them, improving joint function, posture, and neurological communication, which can relieve body and back pain.
Are immediate results typical after one or two chiropractic adjustments?
Some patients may experience instant relief, but most conditions require a 6-12 week care plan to heal fully, with referrals available if needed.
Can I perform chiropractic adjustments on myself?
No, chiropractors undergo extensive training for precise adjustments, making self-adjustment ineffective and potentially unsafe.
Why should I visit a chiropractor if I'm not experiencing pain?
Regular spinal assessments prevent injuries and promote a healthy nervous system, similar to routine dental checkups.
