This clinic is trying to charge me over $900 for an annual well check. My insurance covered part of it so now I only owe $650. This makes absolutely no sense at all. I went to Family Practice associates the next year, same visit, same insurance and paid nothing so clearly something is wrong in the billing department, I have called and left a message for them 3 times in the past 2 days, 5 times over the past year and have gotten no response.

75 minutes past appointment time and still no doctor. The optometry dept wayyy overlooks the ability to see patients. Pun intended. Next time I have to cone here will bill the clinic for any time in excess of 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment. My time is valuable and I will not have it stolen by someone who thinks it is okay to make others wait. I am expected to be on time and it is reasonable to expect the office to be.

After calling to see if I could schedule my daughter an appointment for later today or the next day, hell maybe even the day after, I was transferred 4 times. I kept coming back to Betty despite her transferring me numerous times. While on hold the automated system told me I was first in line, just to tell me 30 seconds later that I was fifth in line? Once I got to speak to a human, Percy to be exact, I was not taken seriously or like I mattered. Percy told me that my Dr was out of the office and Dr agyupong (probably misspelled) only sees his patients for the same day visits (can’t remember what she called them). Percy informed me to call back first thing in the morning, and attempt to be put on the schedule. I asked her what a good number was to call since I was transferred over 4 times to get to her, and waited on hold for 38 minutes. She told me no, and said the number I called was the only number. My daughter’s situation was not an emergency per se, but she definitely needs to be seen sooner rather than later. And definitely before her 4 month appointment on May 5th. I am not understanding why she could not have scheduled an appointment for me, or let me speak to a nurse on staff for some advice. This issue needs to be resolved quickly. When you call your doctors office you expect to be able to speak to a human first and foremost, and not be on hold for 38 minutes. All to be dismissed and given no other solution. It took my husband calling back, and demanding to speak with someone to be heard. Another pediatrician is supposed to be calling me back to provide care to my child. It shouldn’t take this to be seen. I’m giving CNT a 1 star review strictly because of the reception staff. Dr Haley and her nurse are wonderful and thorough. But it takes an act of congress to speak to someone with the pediatric staff or be helped when you do. When my baby was born, I called the new patient like every day for almost a week and never got a call back. When my baby was 5 days old, I drove up to CNT to schedule an appointment in person with the desk receptionist. I should have took this as my sign then to find another office to use. Like I said , Dr Haley is wonderful, but good luck getting to speak with her OR getting in to be seen.

Would not recommend this clinic to anyone. They continue to allow their providers to take on too many patients and overbook their schedules to have patients sitting in the lobby for 9+hrs and not be seen.

Based on my experience with this clinic, Dr. Elvira Tolentino was the worst; she was rude and exhibited zero empathy toward her patients and their parents. Upon entering, she questioned my parenting and made my daughter feel very uncomfortable. Frankly, I don't understand how she is capable of working with patients, considering she has no sympathy. Do not see this doctor.
