I came a little late due to traffic but they saw me right away! Very efficient cleaning and fun conversations!

Do not recommend this dentist. In my initial appointment, after an extremely cursory exam (under a minute) with the dentist, I was told I needed dental deep cleaning (an extremely expensive procedure). This was all explained to me by the receptionist rather than the dentist so I really couldn’t ask questions. When I asked if I could just proceed with a regular cleaning while researching options, I was told they were not able to provide a regular cleaning after the deep cleaning was recommended? Upon expressing some reservations, I was given a “offer” to “book right now for 10% off” which felt weird. I ended up going to a different dentist for a second opinion and after a much more comprehensive exam (including a gum assessment, which was not done here), I was told there was no need for deep cleaning. After this whole ordeal, the appointment was billed as though I had seen a different dentist who was not in network which took a long time to resolve.

I’ve been to the Southport location multiple times for what were supposed to be routine dental appointments. Somehow, I left every single visit with more questions than when I walked in, which feels wildly counterproductive for a dental office. Let’s start with gum recession, a topic that apparently exists in a parallel universe here. At one appointment, I was told receding gums are permanent and cannot be reversed. At the next visit, I was informed they could, in fact, “grow back.” This was exciting news and I assume the science evolved between my cleanings. It’s unclear whether gums are permanent, temporary, or simply operating on vibes. During one cleaning, the hygienist burned the inside of my mouth with a tool. When I reacted, I was informed that this was essentially my fault. There was no apology, just the quiet, unsettling experience of being gaslit by someone holding a suction hose inches from my face. Billing was another surprise. I received patient responsibility charges from appointments that took place over a year ago. While I fully expected to pay them eventually, being notified this late felt less like billing and more like receiving an unpleasant time capsule. The timing was especially thoughtful, as I was already dealing with other major medical expenses. Then there’s the Invisalign quote. I was prepared for “expensive.” I was not prepared for “are these aligners infused with gold?” The pricing landed somewhere between premium and luxury car down payment. Ultimately, I decided to stop going to this practice because I no longer felt comfortable or confident in the care I was receiving. Dental offices should not leave patients feeling confused, blamed, or financially ambushed. Lastly, I will be taking my teeth, gums, my money elsewhere. I hope this review helps future patients make an informed decision and I sincerely wish this office clarity, consistency, and a little less confidence when delivering misinformation.

I had a really nasty recession in the gums of one of my canines so I booked a last minute appointment wherever would take me. These folks are predators. They charge almost twice the other quotes I have gotten after the fact. They were in my mouth for a grand total of twelve minutes for a $700 service, they water boarded me because the technician wasn't helping suction all the water the Dr. was flooding my face with, so I went home and brushed crap out of my own teeth. I told them I'd never had anything more than a routine cleaning, and they didn't explain anything about what was going to happen in the appointment so I was kind of shocked. The front desk girl swindled me into signing up for a credit card to pay for their outrageously priced services without explaining that it was a credit card or that they would be charging me a $40 monthly billing fee and selling my information to other companies. I loved the technician when she was working with me and the doctor seemed nice enough, but this place is really expensive for having rushed, subpar service. Also annoyed that the front desk kept calling me "love". Didn't we quit doing that twenty years ago?

I came here looking to get my teeth cleaned! I was met with the receptionist Paulina who was very nice and sweet! The dental assistant was also very kind, very funny and overall made sure I was comfortable and well token care of. I appreciate the office and their willingness to serve me. Didn’t have much conversation from the Dentist himself. I wish he would have explained what needed to happen and why. He started, no conversation I was confused on what to do next. I felt as if I was just a number he only stated. “Wait for the paperwork the ladies will give you “!! Not cool. Overall it was a nice experience with the two ladies who were kind and helpful!
