Went in got ""virtual eye exam"", choose frames and waited for them to come in. Picked them up wore for couple days and couldn't see my monitor to work. Gave it couple more days thinking my eyes needed to adjust but never did. Called they said to bring back to check for measurements etc . Took them back the measurements were spot on. RE examined my eyes and the whole prescription was so off it was crazy. Well by time they fixed THEIR ISSUE I had made FOUR different trips to that store. Guess what Alyssa refunded me a whole big fat $27.00 way to go Alyssa so proud 🙄🤬 is my last time for Stanton optical!

Horrible…Never again! Will I go or recommend Stanton Optical to anyone, as a first time experience of needing glasses, I chose Stanton optical, and that was the biggest mistake ever the first eye exam prescription was incorrect. It gave me headaches and I was dizzy. The brand I bought, which was Carter they said was one of the best brands they had and when they handed us the glasses, it was missing a screw to hold the arms on. My wife noticed it and then when I put them on, they were blurry after paying about $500 in a week later I went in asking why my vision is blurry at first. They denied that there could be any problem because the prescription was correct but after they looked at the prescription and my glasses, they realize there was an error They had the wrong lens prescription on the wrong side, because my eyes are different per prescription so customer service is horrible and the two managers Amy and Lisa they never had time to assist thankfully one of the ladies working there, looked into it and realized that my prescription was an accurate so the re-ordered another pair with the correct prescription but customer service is horrible The eye doctor experience is pathetic because my prescription was inaccurate. They had to do it twice to get it right and even then. After 2 weeks with the replacement glasses I still get headaches as the prescription they wrote is still incorrect.
But rather than going back again after a third time I just consider my encounter to be a total loss including the aporox$500.00 that I’ve paid them!
Now I’m saving up my money so I can afford a new prescription and glasses from somewhere else!

They have had 2 try’s to get my prescription correct and they didn’t n they have the worst customer care n to elieviate having to deal with them again n try to either get a refund or a third attempt on getting a proper eye exam n a correct eye prescription, n glasses that aren’t defective i just left this alone and took a 500.00 loss!

To conclude this review after going to another Optometrist, I learned that the last eye exam was also incorrect by Stanton optical, and after speaking with Amy, the manager there at Stanton optical at store number 116 she did rectify the situation and reimbursed my expense and cost of my previous purchase with Stanton optical, I recommend to anyone before you leave that store with your new glasses, confirm that they are accurate to your needs so you don’t go through all the headaches I went through, but I would like to give credit to Amy the store manager at that location for making it right I might not still have a pair of glasses that work, but at least got my money back to where now I can go to a different Optometrist for my glasses and prescription respectfully submitted Steven Nelson

The people were nice but the prescription was terrible. I bought progressive lenses and the prescription and the placement of the progressive or bifocal was way off. I went through two years with until I scratched my glasses so bad that I decided to get new ones and a new exam. Now I can actually watch tv, read, and work on my computer without having to constantly take my classes off and back on. The exam is the problem. They don’t have optometrists there just opticians. Big difference. I cannot urge you strongly enough to at least get your eye exam done with a real optometrist. Plus, the pricing for the glasses is huge SCAM!! I paid $644 for my exam and glasses there. When I went to a real optometrist I paid $115 for the exam. I ordered some glasses from Eyebuy direct using my new script and paid $120. I LOVE MY NEW GLASSES!

I just bought a pair of glasses and had my eye exam the same day and they had my lenses in store so, I’ll be getting them LITERALLY TODAY! These ladies are fast, efficient, professional, kind, and all around amazing people. Loved the customer service and loved that they asked me as many questions as they could and made me feel so comfortable. Can’t wait to come back again to get more glasses from this SPECIFIC Stanton Optical. 10/10. Would recommend.

Please please do NOT go here! They seemingly only have one exam room, so we had to wait hours to be seen. When you do finally get to your appointment, they don't tell you this, or disclose this fact to you in any way before the appointment, but the exam is done VIRTUALLY (like, through a big tv on the exam room wall!) by someone in another country. They were actually a bit difficult to understand due to how thick their accent was, and the fact that you're speaking to them through a microphone from across the room, and hearing them through poor quality TV speakers. My concerns weren't addressed, mainly because I wasn't even asked, and I was given a completely incorrect prescription for contacts, somehow. I have two different prescriptions in my eyes, and was expecting to get two different scripts for the next year, as I've gotten contacts many times in the past. Instead, I was given one script (so, 4 boxes of 2.00. my last prescription was much stronger in my right eye and weaker in my left, but both still stronger than a 2.00. this script was wildly incorrect for either of them). I was convinced I was given the wrong script, but no, somehow they got my prescription unbelievably wrong. To make matters worse, we were told someone would come to see us at the end to get the machine away from my face and finish the appointment, but nobody came and we were left in the uncomfortable exam room for 30+ minutes until we realised something was wrong and left the room ourselves all because the light at the top of the door didn't indicate my exam was finished! If you're looking for a deal like us and looking for a cheap exam and contacts, im begging you, don't come here. You're going to waste hundreds of dollars on poor care and incorrect prescriptions. If you do go here, check the prescription on the box FIRST and if it's wrong (which it probably will be, look at their yelp reviews!) DO NOT OPEN THEM LIKE WE DID! RETURN THEM AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK ASAP!! They do not accept returns if the box is opened, regardless of if the prescription is wrong. Get yourself the care you deserve and go somewhere better.
