  Shannon is the best therapist on earth! She really helped me connect trends in my thinking, how my negative thought processes began, and how they were reinforced. She helped me realize more adaptable ways to think and move that I know will serve me better. Additionally, she helped me identify my values, recognize where I wasn’t living in congruence, and establish value centered goals that will help me sustain a purpose driven life. Helen leads awesome men’s processing groups that incorporate movement and activities. Her style eased us into opening up in a manner that was still comfortable for men. She is a genius is her field and I witnessed break through after break through while Im her charge. She is also great at training men in mindfulness and how to practice mindfulness to enhance recovery and sustain mental wellness. Chef Luis and his team make incredibly delicious food. Portions were abundant & choices were healthy. The BHAs are super nice and helpful. Shout out to Margarita!!! She’s the greatest! Not to down play how awesome Sasha, Patrick, Lindsey, Shay, Terrence, Ericka, & Jessie all are! CPT with John, and Recovery in Music with Mike were awesome also! This is just a short list of my favorites but seriously this place is awesome and the experience I had changed my life for the better. Ty Stone River!

  amazing facility, everyone who works here is beyond compassionate and are beyond dedicated to their clients and the care they are giving. Helen Richards is the BEST therapist in the game. HIGHLY recommend stone river for anyone seeking addiction or mental help.

  At first it was rough for me because of some traumas I had in my past but after the days passed by It became so amazing & I was able to overcome all the negativity I had on me. The employers are so welcoming as well as the people in treatment & the food is great I have no complaints about this place I also want to do a shoutout to Helen shes an wonderlful smart therapist that helped me alot as well as Justice, Shannon, Annie, Margarita & John. I reccomend this place to anyone seeking recovery it works & remember. Easy does it!

  I really thought this place cared about me, and they dig at u, get u raw because ur dealing with your trauma & the minute u blow up then they kick u out on the streets of San Antonio, called the cops & the cops end up on my said & waited with me until my daughter got me a room until she could get me. I live 3 hours from there. Yes DO NOT go there. They sure make u feel like they love u & care, but they don’t, u r just a paycheck. I loved my therapist, but not one person has called to check on me after bein kicked out last night. I know many people who would use over this. But a fellow patient threw a coke on me & is still there & a fellow patient got caught with weed, still there. Guess their insurance must b better than mine. I’m crushed, they really made me feel like I meant somethin, not just thrown away like everyone else. But they r just like everyone else. Save yourself the heartache. It’s definitely not worth it.
