  Staff was very kind a patient with my daughter. After a big mix up with insurance and appointment status. We were assited with A+ hospitality by our technician. I wish I remembered her name because its rare to be treated with kindness and patience nowadays and she did just that making my daughter really happy.

  I am so happy to be be assisted by Belinda and Allie. They have been so accommodating. They have both done several attempts to get me into the the right fit, adjustments, and the best frame. I can’t wait until they arrive. I definitely recommend coming to Stanton City Base. “Making you happy”should be their motto!

  Ali and Amber waited on us and assisted us with picking the best selection there was for my husband who is picky picking frames. I totally appreciate the service that was provided being that we waited for a long time, but it was very well worth that as we walked out the door thank you for their service and for the quality of what was provided

  Let me start with saying these people are liars So I called to ask if they are in network with my insurance the “girl” ask for my insurance information and I give it to her she goes on to tell that yes that they are in network now I’m getting a bill for $200.00. The kids they have working there are literally people they pulled off the streets with no knowledge of insurance or how it works I know that everybody has to start somewhere but whoever told me they were in network obviously wasn’t trained properly to be left answering the phone and answering questions without the facts I’m actually going to report them to my insurance like who pays for insurance all year long just to go to an out of network provider I understand if you have had a doctor who doesn’t take your insurance and want to continue seeing them pay what’s old as a new patient I’m not gonna pay a out of network doctor I don’t believe these reviews on here probably family members

  I visited Stanton Optical today and experienced the same issues described in many of the 1-star reviews—and unfortunately, they all happened to me in a single visit. I was told that in order for them to use my insurance, I either had to purchase glasses from them or pay $79 out of pocket for the eye exam. I have one of the highest insurance coverage plans they said they have ever seen, yet I was still pressured into purchasing glasses just to avoid the exam fee. After a short wait, I was shown glasses and informed that the total would be over $200. I was told this was because all the “recommended” lens options had to be added—but only the non-covered versions were offered. Each recommendation would cost me around $80 per add-on, even though covered alternatives should have been available under my insurance. Those options were never presented as a real choice. At no point did this feel transparent. The pricing discussion changed repeatedly, and the advertised value of my insurance essentially disappeared once the sales portion began. This felt like a bait-and-switch, where the exam and insurance benefits are used as leverage to force a glasses purchase at inflated prices. Based on my experience, I strongly advise anyone considering this location to: • Get pricing in writing upfront • Ask exactly which options are insurance-covered • Be prepared to walk away if pressured I left extremely disappointed and frustrated, especially after realizing how closely my experience matched so many other 1-star reviews.
