Honestly I have no idea how most of their locations have 4.9 stars unless they have a way to get 5 star reviews and delete bad ones. I went to this place and worker was friendly but did mislead me. I asked if they take my insurance and she said yes. Then my plan was to purchase 2 pairs for my son because he is young and assumed would be nice to buy 2 if he looses one he can have an other pair. The pairs they have non of them is know brand and the lady said if you buy one you get one free. Then when we started talking about numbers she said the 2 pairs cost $1085 and because fo buy one get one free will be $560. I was shocked and I asked to see the numbers and noticed she was charging me for frames while my insurance should cover $120 for frame. Then the lady said we are not in your insurance Network. I was like you wasted my time to tell me this? I left. I went to Lenscraft and I end up getting my kid 2 pairs, my wife a pair and for me a pair which is total of 4 glasses for a total of $613. All the 4 frames for the glasses were known brands and each frame had $120 discount then insurance paid 80% and us 20%. Pretty much i paid $53 more and got 4 pairs instead of 2 and were brand names and by designers and it was the same add-ons and prescription.

Yes, they worked with me, but that doesn't make up for the lost time and unnecessary stress, and extra money I spent out of my pocket when it should have just been my $20 copay. THEY ASK EVERYONE TO LEAVE A 5 STAR REVIEW, even myself. I was told that they accepted my insurance, but refused to verify anything until the VERY end, I should have left when they refused to verify anything at the start. They claimed my insurance's system was down, yet I was able to put in the SAME EXACT web address on my phone and log in no problems. My insurance uses the same login page for clients as well as providers, so I know for a fact the insurance was not down. I called my insurance, and they offered to help the store, but help refused and told me to just file an out of network claim with them, when they are in network. They could have mailed in their own forms for the claim keeping it in network (Confirmed with Avesis), but I guess that's too much to ask. Instead, they kept pushing the payment plan after I told them NO multiple times. Now I am out way more than I should have been if they had just worked with the insurance, done things right, and worked out a solution internally between them and the insurance. Once I received the glasses a few days later, the prescription was wrong and had to be remade. After the remake my glasses were handed back to me twisted like a pretzel. I had to ask them to be re-adjusted but they asked what was wrong like they weren't messed up with the lenses facing 2 completely different ways.
