- JDJennifer DoDec 11, 20253.0The ladies who work there are very nice (and I would recommend the place based on that since they answered all my questions well and politely), but this is a hybrid appointment where the exam is done “virtually.” The doctor who saw me was visibly growing frustrated on screen and sighed in frustration in the middle of the appointment; it felt at a certain point that it was about being rushed. I feel as if there is a language communication issue during my appointment and in the information that was relayed, and what was being understood on the doctor’s end which contributes to the feeling of “being rushed.” There is also the issue of “audio” that comes inherent in hybrid. It’s better to use curt, short sentences if anyone else visits and to speak a bit more loudly; the visit felt more rushed at times compared to other eye doctor places that I have visited in the past and in the area. I understood the questions, and it felt like the doctor was “picking out words” from what I said and making assumptions rather than understanding what I was actually trying to say; use short answers and speak loudly during the exam if you visit. If the issue was the clearness of my speech or volume then I should have been asked to speak clearer or louder; I was not asked to. I am reluctant to return after this experience. The hours are great though, and so are the walk-ins. It is a great place if you’re short on time/need a walk-in.
