made an appointment at 5:45, they said i couldn’t do it because they neeeded to dilate my eyes. Came back at 6:00 and said i didn’t want to dilate my eyes and they said the doctors left at 6 (they’re virtual )

Update Dec 24- Nothing, this company and store will steal from you, I’m out $800 and no glasses. Come at your own risk.
Update as of Thursday, December 11. The general 877 number that I was given to call for resolution routed me straight to the Plano location who did nothing to resolve. The issue offered me again a 50% discount on purchasing another set of two pairs of glasses so instead of them stealing $800 from me they want $800 Plus another $400 for me to receive the product I should have received the first time. So there has been no resolution I don’t know who reached out to me and replied to the Google review, but there was no resolution when I called to attempt to resolve the theft. I would highly recommend nobody go to the store unless you like giving money away.
I had the worst experience in the Plano store. And what made it even more terrible is that they stole money from me. I paid for two pairs of glasses nearly $800 and they came back from the lab wrong so we had to resend them back to the lab they never reappeared from the lab. I came and checked in and was told oh we need more time. “Let me look”. I would call and get the same answer Over and over again.
Now I’m being told by the regional manager that I can order new glasses and they’ll give me a discount. When I’ve already paid for product that I have never received. The fact that they are willing to steal money from customers and then do absolutely nothing to fix the issue is something that everyone should be concerned about.

Hatem hooked it up, fixed both of my broken pairs in minutes, worked by himself, balanced 3 customers at once with everybody being happy!

I had one of the worst optical experiences of my life at Stanton Optical. They do not have an optometrist on site, which they do not make clear upfront. Instead, they run the eye exam through Zoom, and the result was a prescription that was 100% wrong.
The contacts they sold me were unusable. My vision was blurry, strained, and unsafe for driving. I had to go to an entirely different doctor and pay out of pocket to get a proper exam—an additional $300 I never should have had to spend.
Stanton Optical refused to help, refused to correct the issue, and refused to refund anything. Their customer service showed zero accountability, even though their remote exam caused the problem.
This experience was incredibly frustrating and expensive, and I would strongly advise anyone to avoid Stanton Optical. If you value your eyesight and your money, go somewhere with an actual optometrist on site who stands behind their work.
