    I walked in on a whim because I had been stalking a pair of frames since my eye exam several months back. THEA was the epitome of customer service! She gave an alternate choice as the frame I wanted was name brand and I struggled with the cost. After number crunching and debating, I left with the pair of frames I came in for originally! Thank you Thea for the help and patience to let me decide. I will definitely be back for the alternative pair as well now!

    I went in today as a walk in for an eye exam and was immediately greeted as I went through the door by some professional young ladies and after receiving my exam, I proceeded to pick out some frames and then was helped by Thea and she was so helpful and professional doing her job. She was so nice and while helping me, she greeted everyone that came through the door! Thank you ladies for a great experience today, I really appreciate it

    Definitely not your ideal place to get your glasses, contacts, or you're so called "free eye exam". I was told I'd receive my glasses in a week, or a week and a half. Yulissa was the original one who helped when I first got my prescription (VERY terrible customer service overall, very rude and vague, no informational help whatsoever) Even when I called to check on my order status, she was the one who answered, and the same to no surprise. Very short, unfriendly, and very uncomfortable to talk too. I went and did my exam on 10/28/2025, now I have to wait until 11/11/2025 and basically be blind until then. I ended up spending $140+ for ONE pair of glasses and a supposedly free eye exam. I was never emailed a receipt, and was never presented one in person when Yulissa was the one who checked me out. This location in Midland off the loop is very terribly staffed. The whole experience was overall very disappointing and uncomfortable. I will never go back there, and will definitely spread the word to others to stay away. They don't honor the deals they advertise, and even with insurance I still paid over $140 for some basic non transitional glasses. Not only that, but if I knew I was going to have to wait 2 weeks, I should've been given an offer to have an extra pair since 2 weeks is a long time with no prescriptions. I wish I could've given this place 0 stars, but 1 star is the highest this location will ever receive.

    I showed up for an eye exam and was very disappointed with the level of professionalism at the front desk. When a business is busy, even a simple acknowledgment goes a long way but that didn’t happen here. Two girls were sitting at the check-in desk, one on the phone and the other scrolling on her phone. Both completely ignored me as I stood there waiting. When the call ended, there was still no acknowledgment. They both got up and walked away without saying a word. When one of them finally returned, she shuffled some papers before eventually asking how she could help me. To make matters worse, the tablet they handed me for intake forms had another patient’s personal information still visible on the screen, an obvious privacy concern. At that point, I decided to leave and go to the Odessa location instead. The staff there were a complete contrast professional, attentive, and friendly from start to finish. I highly recommend visiting the Odessa office if you want to be treated with respect and care.

    Do not recommended Stanton Optical Midland location. Today was my first time there and I had higher expectations for this place & their “promotions”. I was indecisive on whether to get contact lenses or glasses, but I ended up deciding on getting contact lenses. I was asking a young lady multiple questions given that it was my first time there. She was pretty vague and rude while answering them. I get my exam done and head to checkout once prescription is ready, to where Yulissa attended me and gave me my total which was originally going to be almost $300 for the contact lense exam and a 6 month supply of contacts lenses. I asked her about a promotion that a Stanton representative gave me over the phone the previous day which he stated was $149 before tax contact lenses for everyday disposal of a 3 month supply and it included a free contact lens exam + ofc my glasses prescription. She mentioned that it did not apply to me bc my contact lens prescription had no astigmatism and I explained to her that the representative did not mention I had to have astigmatism to receive the deal. She then proceeded to give me another price for $240+ for not quite sure how many month supply of contact lenses. I then asked her again I thought the contact lens exam is free upon buying contact lenses with deal and she said it’s not but quickly cut me off by saying she’d give me the exam free, to which I took as her trying to get me out of there as she did it so abruptly. She asked for my card, finalized the transaction, handed me my free sample of contact lenses and paper prescription. I walked away immediately after as I just wanted to get out of there because of how bad the experience was, that I didn’t even consider asking how to put on lenses as it’s my first time. Yulissa failed to inform me how to apply or if I had any questions or concerns regarding contact lenses. I left extremely unsatisfied with my purchase and clueless as to how to apply the lenses or how long to use them for or if I have to get a case or solution or how long these would be good for. I called customer service and they directed me back to the store for a resolution, she ended up refunding me $52+ change for just my contacts to make things right but I am still unsatisfied as I left paying for a so called “free eye exam”, no contact lenses and uninformed about how to even apply the sample ones I received. I also found out that the ones she previously ordered are completely different than what my prescription should be. I will not be back at that location and strongly advised to stay away unless you wanted to be treated rudely and leave uninformed plus paying more than what they claim their deals to be.
