No wonder why people review them with negative comments but now since I have been there I know the reason. First they don’t charge correctly. It’s different prices when we ask through phone call and they have different prices and so called conditions when we visit store. I had my appointment for 12 and it was already 12:30 when they served me and then the lady says there is another exam we need to do so it will take 30-45 minutes like for real ???? Someone else got served before me even though it was my turn. Whenever we call they try to get people without listening their question. Wasted my whole 1hr. Get some good service people get some good service!!!!!!!

Advertised a deal for an exam and two pairs of glasses for $79 only if you "qualify", then you find out if you qualify based on the results of your exam. My kid didn't qualify, but they let us find out before we paid anything. If you agreed to pay first, you would've been charged $150+ just for the exam. Weird business practices.

Stanton Optical is a Profound Disappointment: A Warning Stanton Optical (formerly My Eyelab) is not just a joke; it is a nightmare of incompetence that spiked my blood pressure and stole my time. My experience was a two-week cycle of utter frustration and disrespect. The remote "eye exam" was a grotesque failure from the start. I told the technician repeatedly—at least ten times—that I could not read the letters for my left eye. His response was cold and robotic, dismissing my reality: "I am not asking you to read the letters. I'm asking you which one is less blurry." They forced the exam forward, ignoring my clear vision distress. The resulting glasses were a cruel, unusable joke. I put them on, and the world warped—everything was distorted. This was not a minor adjustment; it was a non-prescription. Yet, the staff pressured me to "try them for a week," and later, "wear them for one full day." I could not. I tried twice and found I was fundamentally unable to see. The final straw came with the recheck, where the second technician made the exact same fundamental mistake on my left eye. My patience shattered. I refused to complete the exam and demanded a full refund for the purchase based on two failed tests and non-functional glasses. Their response was an act of corporate malice. They refused to refund the full cost of the unusable product. Instead, they attempted to charge me $115 for the incomplete, failed eye exam (an exam initially priced at $5 with a purchase). They failed the test twice, sold me worthless glass, and then tried to bill me over a hundred dollars for the privilege of enduring their incompetence. My blood pressure was through the roof. I told them to keep the glasses and refused to ever set foot in that location again. They are not in network with VSP, leaving me with a failed experience and a useless external complaint. DO NOT GO HERE. If they make a mistake because their remote exam is fundamentally flawed, you will be stuck like chuck—paying a fortune for their catastrophic failure.

Quick and efficient! Provided upfront cost of exam. Notified me that technician would be virtual, which was totally fine.
