Elder Advisory Group has a plan. And that's a huge thing. When you're trying to figure out what to do for a loved one who may be failing physically or mentally, it's hard, and it's even harder to know what to do. You need a plan. And, as noted, Elder Advisory Group has one.
That doesn't mean it's the same plan for everyone. I wound up talking to them to help my mom, who was suffering from what I would later learn was Alzheimer's dementia. Toni Kercher, one of the care managers, was instrumental in figuring out an appropriate placement for my mom and pulling the strings to get her there. Toni helped out multiple times during my mom's decline, and she was a calming influence for both my mother and for me. It was just good to know that there was someone who really knew their stuff helping to make the big decisions. There's a lot of peace of mind comes with that.
Watching a parent grow old and decline is never going to be an easy thing. You can't expect it to be. The best you can do is try to do your best for them, and that is what Elder Advisory Group seems to be good at helping you do. They have a plan when you don't. They know where to turn for information and resources at a time when you're feeling kind of lost. I turned to Toni multiple times, and she never failed to answer. It made a tough situation just a little easier. I thank her for it.

I could not be more complimentary of Elder Advisory Group. I had two ailing parents and was overwhelmed as to how to navigate the system and understand my options. They helped me make smart decisions at a very difficult time. They have an extremely knowledgeable and compassionate team. They have a vast network of resources to meet every need. They made confronting a very difficult and daunting situation so much easier. I could not recommend them more highly.

There truly are not enough words to express how much of a difference Janice made in my life! My father fell and broke his hip. I moved him into a wonderful skilled nursing facility, but I live out of state. Janice was amazing. She kept me informed, she kept all of his care moving along, she provided comfort and care to my father and to me. She was a lifeline for me during a very difficult time in my life, and I am so very grateful to her, and to the Elder Advisory Group!

Elder Advisory Group has done a great job of helping my sister and me care for our father as he navigates the challenges of being 88-years old. We needed 'boots on the ground' in Houston, where he's lived for many years, as the two of us are in California and Hawaii. EAG came highly recommended by other family members in the area and their know-how, experience and professionalism are everything we had hoped for. They also have a deft touch and the compassion and grace that are so important in this type of situation. Highly recommended.
