- TTTiff TreatsNov 11, 20251.0Went to get a screening done and was charged a copay upon arrival, that was fine I then asked would all services be covered by my insurance and was told yes. Needless to say I was sent a Bill in the mail by the lab I did not visit...not sure why the clinic could not Bill the lab and then my insurance? I have no problem with the bill if I had been notified that this will happen I would honestly have went straight to the lab myself as I have done so before and avoided a Copay.

I have never had a better experience than I have had at the Planned Parenthood Southwest location. The care here is fantastic to say the least. I can always get an appointment next day. They accept insurance, very little waiting room time, and the staff are what really make it the best! The clinician Leanne really makes you feel seen. Kindness and compassion comes through each visit. She really takes the time to listen. The MA Daniel makes you feel welcome and is also so very kind. Every staff member I have come across there is absolutely the BEST! Thank you for the top notch care. It doesn’t go unnoticed.

Unfortunately, the provider who saw me (Pamela whose name I wasn’t given, as she didn’t introduce herself only found it on the receipt ) seemed rushed and only spent a few minutes with me. This lack of communication and attentiveness was frustrating. Additionally, this was my second visit for the exact same issue. The first visit cost $235, and the second was $272 — with no explanation for the price increase. It feels inconsistent and unclear how charges are determined, which is concerning as a patient. I hope the clinic can improve its transparency and patient care going forward.
