My experience there was better than I anticipated . I was treated well from the very moment I was called back for my visit . From the beginning to the end of my appt I was very impressed with how things went . My doctor was very respectful and professional I will definately recommend Concentra off Forest Park in Fort Worth to anyone who needs that type of medical care they offer . It was was my first experience there and a great one .

I hurt my shoulder at work in April . I was diagnosed with a strained muscle so I was out for 3 months and went to physical therapy for 2 months( 1 whole month to get it approved ) I had lots of pain butOver time My range of motion got better but the pain was still There . When moving my arm in certain positions, it would hurt and i told him this every visit but he only paid attention to the range of motion . At my last appointment , I told the physician that I still had pain, he then said its because i have shoulder impingement, ( he’s never addressed this diagnoses the whole 2 months) so im asking, how do we go about fixing this problem. he then proceeded to tell me that workers comp didnt address pain, just range of motion and that impingement would just have to get better over time or he could send me somewhere to get a shoulder repair. I was confused because if it’s something that can get better over time why would I need a shoulder repair . well since then my shoulder has gotten worse and I don’t know what to do. I asked twice for an mri to be sure strained muscle was really the problem and I got an excuse everytime as to why I was not able to have one . I believe it’s my rotator cuff, now I can’t keep my shoulder at rest because it hurts and feels like it’s pulling something , I have to keep it lifted to feel no pain or the pulling sensation . My last visit i stormed out tearful and upset because I knew my shoulder wasn’t healed but I felt Rushed to get back to work on a shoulder that was not healed and now it’s worse . I’m in healthcare, I can’t work on this shoulder like this . It’s like he didn’t listen to my complaining about the positional pain until the very last visit and gave me a complete different diagnoses than what I started with . I was told that I can open my case and get a reevaluation of my shoulder and that’s what I’m goin to do. I even complained about this situation to my physical therapists that had been trying to really help me since the first day with my concern and I appreciate it.
