    ⭐ 1 out of 5 stars I visited Stanton Optics in El Paso about two months ago, right before Thanksgiving, for an eye exam, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the staff was not attentive. The woman at the front desk was unhelpful and made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a customer. My eye exam was done via telehealth, which in itself was fine, but there were technical issues and I was left waiting for a long time before anyone came to assist me. After the exam was completed, another doctor appeared on the screen not realizing I had already been seen. I then sat alone in the exam room for about 30 minutes before someone finally came to release me. When I asked about frame pricing, I was given incorrect information. I was also not informed about the TRICARE discount until much later. The only positive part of my visit was a gentleman (I believe of Arabic descent — unfortunately I don’t recall his name) who was extremely kind, professional, and patient. He explained the different packages clearly and truly tried to help. He deserves recognition for his customer service. I ended up purchasing a yearly supply of contact lenses and was told I would receive an email or phone call when they were ready. We confirmed they had the correct email address on file. Two months later, I never received any communication. When I finally called last month, the response I received was simply, “Yeah, they’re here,” with no apology or acknowledgment of the delay. Overall, the atmosphere felt disorganized and unwelcoming. I did not feel like a valued customer at any point during this experience, especially due to the lack of professionalism and communication. This was very disappointing and felt like poor business practice.

    I would recommend any one looking for glasses, they are really fast you can get your glasses the same day depending on your prescription, but everything came out perfect 10/10 Roxanna was the one that greeted me, she was very helpful 🤓

    Everyone is very helpful. BUT, the first day I went for my exam, it smelled like someone dropped some serious business in the bathroom throughout the whole place. And I just dismissed it as that. But then a few days later, I went to pick up my contacts and it smelled exactly the same. It's very, VERY strong and hard to ignore. I don't know if there's a issue with the pipes, or theres a worker there with IBS, but it's pretty bad. Other than that, the experience was good.

    Had an appt at 12:15pm. Arrived at the door at 12:05pm and it was still locked. The store was supposed to be open 12pm. We had to sign in and wait. The tests and everything were finally started at 12:24. By 12:41pm we were told all we needed was to wait for the dr to sign off on the prescription. So far we have been waiting over 40mins and nothing has been done. What is the point in having an appt if there is no dr to sign off on the prescriptions? I was told that it was because she is here for contacts and that takes longer. I have been bringing my kids her for their contacts for years and never had this issue. This is beyond ridiculous!
