Once given a price I had let them know I would call back because it was a little out of my budget at the moment and I wanted to speak to my insurance and initial doctor first to see if this was the cash route only option. The scheduler gave me another rundown and was pushy to convince me to schedule when I declined he said “well it seems like you asking them before calling should’ve been the first option then, huh?” I just wanted to get a ball park range of pricing if I did decide to go the cash pay route but that was a completely unnecessary comment. As a scheduler myself, I would never make this comment to a potential patient. I could only imagine how they treat their patients in office if this was the hostility I was met with before even scheduling.
