- SHSerena HicksMar 26, 20255.0It's heartbreaking when you realize your loved one requires Memory Care. I chose Brookdale after shopping many places. Brookdale was the obvious choice for me and my very loveable (and challenging because he's super smart but also now brain injured) Dad. I have no complains only praise for the entire staff at this facility. They worked quickly to get his room ready. They send me pics of him enjoying social activities and games with his friends. It's so hard to know he's not at his home of 45 years. It's SO comforting to know this home is a safe, social and caring place for him to enjoy the rest of his life.

Caregivers are not properly trained by actual employees that work for Brookdale but trained by agency that are not certified CNAs . The staff gossip more than do there job. I dont recommend you sending your family member to a chaotic disorganized environment like this. The 2 best caregivers they had have now left due to management.

From small extra requests like personalizing her room to the daily challenges of caring for somebody increasingly confused, Brookdale White Rock is the perfect place for my mom. I am thankful for the staff (who doesn't turn over) whether they're caregivers, office personnel, housekeepers or cooks. They make a really difficult job seem effortless. They manage to make Brookdale White Rock feel like home.
