This practice, HR/Desiree, contacted me for an interview. Several emails were exchanged. They set the apt. for 330 on Friday. When no one called me, at 340, I reached out to them. I was told thet had no interview set up for me, and they would review candidates, and get back to me... Troubled, as to how, or what had happened, I asked to speak with Desiree. After a brief hold, the call disconnected... Not wanting to think they were that rude, I called back... The woman who answered, put me on hold, briefly, and when returning to the phone verbally attacked me, saying that I had called MULTIPLE TIME DURING THE DAY, and to STOP CALLING.
Now, I am greatly concerned, because I had not called several times throughout the day, and since I had emails arranging an interview, I could only presume that there was some soet of fraud, using their indeed account, and now I was being sucked into whatever was going on... As I attempted to explain this to the woman, I was told do not call again, and hung up upon....
This seems like a poorly run place, with a lot of very unstable, and temperamental people there... Certainly, very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. A derelict HR department, and rude, disrespectful, and quite honestly, foolish! staff working there ... If common sense was available there, it would have screamed "hey, this guy is trying to warn us if some potential fraud, or that the indeed account has been hacked", but, alas, no... Just foolish people, who lack the acumen to deal with the public... this is MY first, and last, experience with these clowns.
I was referred to Smile Avenue Family Dentistry by one of my staff members and scheduled a deep cleaning appointment. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
The procedure began with the application of numbing gel, and shortly after, I began experiencing severe discomfort. It appeared that some of the gel mixed with my saliva and numbed the back of my throat, which made it feel as though my throat was closing. I struggled to breathe comfortably, began coughing uncontrollably, and even started sweating from the intensity of the reaction.
The entire deep cleaning procedure took approximately three hours to complete (all quadrants), which I have undergone before at other dental offices, but never for that duration or level of discomfort. Additionally, I believe I paid for one filling during this visit (that never got done nor was I reached out to schedule it) but was not provided with an itemized bill to confirm.
The office closes for an hour during lunch(12p-1p), and prior to their break, my payment was collected but no receipt was provided. When I asked the hygienist about the filling, she was unaware of it and informed me that someone from the front desk would call me after lunch to follow up. As of now, I have not received that call.
While I appreciate the cleanliness, modern appearance, and thoroughness of the staff, my overall experience was extremely unpleasant and concerning. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and will resume my care with Mint Dentistry.
