- SSSSAug 23, 20252.0Brought my daughter there to get a new prescription before school started, they were the only place avaliable on short notice and its obvious why. They do their eye exams remotely through what's basically a FaceTime video call. We could barely understand the doctor, his questions were vague and not clear at all. He also could not hear my daughter's answers. After waiting 2 weeks for the lenses to come in, we pick them up and its very clear the prescription is off. Instantly complained of headaches. We have always dealt with texas childrens in houston because my daughter always had eye problems in 1 of her eyes since since she was 5. I will say they were cheap, so theres that, but now we have a pair of glasses she wont wear. No I will not be going there to get them fixed because its unbelievable how wrong you can be as a medical professional the first time. I will say the workers that help with the glasses fitment and selection are great. The big one in the back was kinda dry and conceited with his answers and questions. But theres no 2nd chances from me. Do not use stanton optical in beaumont. Learned my lesson, luckily it only cost me $150.

She could not explain extra charges she made up. And said I could go somewhere else. I have never seen so many sad unprofessional people in one settings. The place looks as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months. I called the number and she answered. Stay away don’t waist your time!! Just trying to get you in to have a horrible experience several people walked out as I was there.
