- RCRussell ChorushJan 4, 20265.0Dr. Widner deserves more than five stars, but this is the most I can give him. I am 58 years old and have had hit-or-miss experiences with medical professionals over my life. So when I have a really positive experience, I like to give credit where credit is due. My dentist told me that I needed to have two teeth extracted and one implant. Ugh. I had a wisdom tooth extracted years ago and knew it was nothing to look forward to. So I did some research and located Dr. Widner, who had high marks. They are well deserved. I had three choices. A purely local anesthetic, or that plus laughing gas, or general anesthesia. I picked the last one and woke up with no pain. Dr. Widner uses a two-day pain reliever, and I never had any significant pain after the surgery. During the first two days, I took Advil a few times for minor discomfort. After the first two days, I did not have any pain to relieve. I never had any noticeable swelling or bruising. After a week, I was basically back to normal in terms of eating (except for chewing on one side). I hope I never need oral surgery again, but if I do I would for sure go back to Dr. Widner.

I was referred here for a wisdom tooth extraction and I’m so glad I was! Their receptionist staff is super accommodating, and everyone there truly cares about your experience and ensuring you have exactly what you need. Dr. Widner is excellent at what he does. He was super thorough when helping me understand what to expect, and for the surgery day itself, I could tell I was in great hands. I genuinely had zero pain after the surgery and didn’t need anything beyond a few ibuprofen here and there for the swelling. Following his instructions, the healing has been on point with no complications or issues. I couldn’t find a single thing to complain about even if tried. If this office is an option for you, take it. You don’t find dentistry try out there that you feel so pleasantly surprised by that you decide to write a 5-star review!
