- JLJanet LeisingerNov 17, 20255.0I came in for a consultation and was able to set up the surgery for that Saturday. The wait was a little long as they had a special event taking place. I was scared for the surgery and the pressure they talked about was more than I expected but I was in and out in less than 10 min. They gave me drops and sunglasses with very clear instructions they provided multiple times. My husband was able to watch me outside the room during the surgery and they had video close up of my eye up on a TV where he was sitting. Post surgery, it was painful to keep my eyes open, a terrible headache started and I graver set in. I went straight home to bed for 6 hrs and the headache and fever were gone. My eyes were sensitive still to the TV so I went back to sleep. The next day I woke up and had a little swelling, bruising on the eye and my eyes were dry. You also cannot wash your face for 3 days. Thank goodness for the weekend surgery. They provide you with all the drops to help with recovery so I felt much better on Monday for my post op. I can now see 20/15 in my left eye and 20/20 in my right eye! I am so excited to be able to see without glasses after 29 years.

When I was cleared for Lasik, I felt so confident that I scheduled my surgery for the same week. I was shocked that the entire surgery only lasted eight minutes! The surgical team did an outstanding job preparing me and guiding me through the process. I cannot speak highly enough of the amazing team at this practice. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone considering Lasik surgery
