I've been to Concentras literally all over the US for the past 5 years and have the routine pretty down pat. I also needed a respirator fit test, which, again is nothing new. Today, however, Dr. Valentin decided my broken ribs and punctured lung from a car accident 25 YEARS ago warranted a full physical. Of course my agency's work authorization didn't cover it because it wasn't needed. I had to sit and wait while they contacted my agency to get a new authorization to cover the frivolous exam. I had to repeat filling out the fit test form which was redundant. They made me change into a gown like I was getting a physical from my PCP, only for him to check my vision, ears and listen to my lungs. Why the scrubs I am currently wearing weren't sufficient, I have no idea. I was livid at this unnecessary diversion from previous experiences. The fit mask test was also the most extensive I've been through. An hour process at any other facility, turned into 2 and a half hour ordeal. If you're a healthcare traveler or anyone that values their time, go to another Concentra.
