- YYYudithJan 3, 20261.0I called as a new patient and the person on the other end of the phone was lacking customer service skills. She also could not tell me if they took my insurance or not. A properly trained receptionist should know if they are in network with Cigna or not. In addition, verifying insurance takes just two minutes and the click of a button. This is simply unacceptable. On top of everything, I explained the urgent medical issue I had and what I was seeking care for, she stated that this was considered continuation of services and they would not be able to see me. She advised me to seek a primary care appointment. Given the lack of information she had about the insurance, I would have appreciated checking with medical personnel before declining care.

Instead I was told they would have to send it to a lab. 6 days later still no response I went to the location where they printed me the documents that provided the negative results. I should have been contacted.

The staff then spent 20 minutes attempting to get us scheduled at a pediatric urgent care and verify the facility would take our insurance since we live out of state. Thank your for your kindness.
