Dr. Newman is my 4th dentist in Lebanon. I was employed in the dental field for 20 years. He is the best!

Extremely overpriced compared to all other dentists in Lebanon, I guess we're paying for their decor anytime we open the door. I got quoted over $5,000 for what ended up being less than $3,000 worth of work, and the whole reason I went was because I had a tooth in pain and they refused to do anything for it, whether that be removing it or otherwise. I went in just to try to get a tooth pulled and I they ended up scratching up all my teeth, making my mouth sensitive to heat and cold for months. I would not recommend visiting this nightmare.

Incredibly welcoming from the moment I walked in. Friendly hygienist answered all of my questions. Cannot recommend Dr. Newman and his staff enough.

They wouldn't check my other cavity cause they didn't have time but they had plenty of time for extraction and extraction only. At this point I should of walked out cause it took him ten seconds of looking at cavity to decide it needed extracted. Not sure why couldn't spend another ten seconds looking at other cavity cause I'm pretty sure I need another one extracted and would rather only go through this once. Especially since I smoke and it's super hard for me not to. Lady says they don't nickel and dime you, but I was charged 80 for that ten second look and if I were to go back they'd charge me it again even though it all could've been easily taken care of one time. Wasn't really prepared to get tooth extracted and it didn't seem like my opinion mattered. It could of very well been a necessity but this was never conveyed to me. Instead it felt like they saw dollar signs and jumped towards it without any regards to me, how prepared I was, or what options I really had cause again, didn't bother to look at other issues, using time as an excuse to rush me into surgery. I signed the liability waiver as I was already numb and mouth wide opened. I was told really fast what I should avoid, like smoking, but was never really told why or what things I can do to help prevent infection or dry sockets, like warm salt water for example or what I can eat or drink that wont affect area. I almost gave three stars for friendly staff, but concluded it was insincere. You can say it's good to see me over and over again, but actions speak louder than words. My suggestions would be not to jam your patients close together where they feel rushed to make decisions and you can actually spend time guiding your patient to a conclusive decision that they are comfortable with, along with the steps afterwards to assure clean fast healing outside a piece of paper on what not to do I updated this review to 2 stars cause I forgot they did tell me they would call me, but unfortunately I don't have phone signal on my property and wifi-calling is hit and miss. Driving 2 hours afterwards to a home I live by myself is one thing I would of changed, to prepare for

Frequently Asked Questions About Newman Dental Associates

Can I get an implant the same day as an extraction?

It's possible in certain cases. The feasibility depends on factors such as the quality and quantity of bone at the extraction site, and the absence of active infection. Our dental team will assess your specific situation to determine if same-day implant placement is a viable option for you.

What is the different in dental cleaning and scaling?

A traditional dental cleaning is a routine procedure for maintaining oral health. Scaling, also known as deep cleaning, is a more intensive treatment. It's typically recommended when there are signs of bone loss or periodontal disease, addressing areas below the gum line that regular cleaning can't reach.
