  Staff was extremely sweet. The wait for the doctor was a good minute but once meeting with him turned out to absolutely love him. He answered all my questions and my boyfriend’s questions! He listened to all my thoughts and concerns

  Staff was on their phones and did not want to talk to me. They had an attitude when going in for a drug screening when asking for cups of water, like I was an inconvenience. Very rude and unprofessional. If you all are to hire staff moving forward, I would please suggest hiring people who seem to want to work and help their patients. If I can choose, I will never be returning here.

  The front desk receptionist needs a strong reminder that she works in patient services and she gets paid to provide care. When my husband visited this office for a work physical, I asked if she could direct me to the restroom (I am 8 months OBVIOUSLY pregnant and we drove over an hour to get to the office). She quickly let me know that they do not have a public restroom. Am I considered “public” as my husband has an appointment? I didn’t just wander in off the street. She said that only he could use the facilities and “it’s posted on the door”. I felt like this response was unprofessional and even if the rules are strict about patient only restrooms, the message could have been delivered more professionally and definitely more gentle to a pregnant woman who is clearly in need. This place just doesn’t provide the expected care that their name would indicate. Concentra “urgent care” can’t even provide a restroom when it’s urgent! Thank God that we weren’t in any real need for medical treatment! I didn’t make it past the front desk as I had to drive out to a gas station, but if this office trains and encourages this type of service at the front desk, I can only imagine how professional or knowledgeable the doctors and nursing staff must be! If management doesn’t recognize the need to have restrooms available in their lobby, I can’t imagine they would understand the need for appropriate medical treatments! ..And if they are knowledgeable in medicines, but unwilling to sufficiently staff, train, and hold their front desk staff accountable for showing care and professionalism, I would still recommend going ANYWHERE else because at the end of the day, making people feel cared for should be a priority for any healthcare practice.
