I’d like a refund… Only giving two stars because the staff was truly wonderful and incredibly kind. However, my strep throat was misdiagnosed here as tonsil stones. The nurse practitioner even pulled up Google during the visit to confirm her diagnosis with me. I explained that I believed I had caught strep early — my throat was blood red, I had white streaks/patches on my tonsils, I was crying (over everything… that’s just what I do), and I’d run a mild fever the night before — but I was still told it wasn’t strep. I paid $120 out of pocket for this visit, expecting a cut-and-dry appointment. After continuing to feel worse, I went to a second clinic, paid again, and immediately tested positive for strep. I finally received the medication I needed, but only after spending more money. The staff deserves praise for how kind they were, but unfortunately the misdiagnosis cost me time, comfort, and an additional clinic bill. I would greatly appreciate a refund of my $120 for the initial visit given that I had to seek care elsewhere and was confirmed positive for strep.

MAJOR EDIT below: changing rating to one star. NEW: We had a VERY bad experience here over 3 DAYS. First we went in, the lady at the desk took our insurance cards and ID and we were charged our co-pay listed on our insurance card. My child was there to get some basic blood levels tested and were told that the nurse didn't have time to do it. She was double booked she said and her patients were backed up all day. She made an appnt for us the next day to come back and said she would give us a 30 min slot so the nurse next day would have time. Next day: I had received a text about the appnt, with a link, but I could not get anywhere with the link. When we arrived we were told we did not have an appnt. So, the person at the desk made another appnt the next day saying that only the lady named Lynn could take blood and she wasn't there. So again, we made an appnt for the next day. Third day, Lynn, the nurse told us she couldn't do the blood tests we wanted. I said: ok, well we will leave because we don't need to be charged for this. She said, no don't leave I will talk to you first. We sat down and I told her I had called ahead before making the first appnt to corporate number & they said those tests could be performed and the other nurse before her said they could be done but she didn't have time. Then Lynn changed her mind and said they could be done but they would be very expensive and we didn't have insurance. I asked her why she thought we didn't have insurance. She said when we came in a few days before no insurance information was recorded. I told her, 2 days before that the girl took our insurance card and charged us the co-pay. She said, ok well I CAN do these tests. She then proceeded to say my daughter's veins were too small and I needed to go somewhere else. I asked her about another clinic near by and said, I hoped we will not be charged for this visit. She said we would not. AS we left, I asked for my insurance card because the girl was on the phone and had my card. I told her she didn't need it because we weren't going to be charged as we had received no service. She would not give me my card, so I went and asked the nurse again, if we were going to be charged and she said no. Again, i went to the desk and reached for my card and told the girl that she didn't need it because we weren't being charged. She did not hand me the card so I put my hand on the card and she would not give it to me so I wrapped my finger around the card and took it. She had no intention of giving me my card. As far as I know we were not charged for the second visit. I have no idea what was going on at that clinic. We were treated so strangely. (Also, the first nurse told me that corporate was having her book her patients double because she needed to be more available).

I was seen here on a Sunday with a 3 hour wait. Understand the wait time can’t always be helped, but was very disappointed in services. I was seen for an awful respiratory infection and not even really treated. Symptoms got worse and luckily was able to see my regular doctor for treatment a few days later. I feel like this was a complete waste of a copay and an experience that I will choose not to go through again. Save your money and your time and go somewhere else.
