Great experience today at the dentist. My first visit to them and everyone I encountered was great. My hygienist was wonderful and the dentist was super bubbly and friendly. I got a great cleaning and my teeth feel great!
I will definitely continue to go there!

I can't say I was ever really pleased with Dr. Kelly to begin with because I had so many issues with the dental work. However, over the course of 12 + years I was always told that it was my teeth that were the problem and I believed her because it was convenient to do so. Over time she started doing less and less of the work herself and had her assistants do it instead so the fillings became even more sloppy and crowns always left gaps for food to compact in. There is only one assisant that knows what she's doing and she's been there forever. The rest...it's like they are fresh out of school or something. I'm not sure what the turn over is like but I constantly saw new faces. The last straw was when I took my daughter in for a simple filling. I guess the dentist didn't hit the right spot with the numbing injection because it didn't take, even after 5 + injections. She literally stood up and said "I did the best I could" and then just walked out...couldn't even take the time to explain what was going on. I asked the assistant if I should plan on coming back to try again and she said yes, to keep an eye on the cavity. Keep an eye on it? If it didn't need to be filled to begin with, why were we ecen there to get the filling? To top it off, I'm a cash payer and they actually charged me for the work that they never did. To this day, I have no idea why I even paid them. I was angry beyond measure.
However, I'm not sorry for the experience because it was just the wake up call I needed to get a clue, get out of my comfort zone, and find a better dentist.
We've since been to a dentist in Jamestown for myself and my daughter and haven't had any issues. They were even able to fix some of the previous work that I was told couldn't be corrected because that's "just the way it is." My only regret is that it took me so long to look for someone else.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – “Crossville Smiles: The Dental Crusade That Saved My Marriage (and Probably Civilization)”
I walked into Crossville Smiles a broken man — teeth like medieval ruins, a marriage hanging by a floss thread, and a smile that could curdle milk at fifty paces. My wife said, “Go to the dentist or I’m joining a monastery.”
Enter Crossville Smiles: a place so pristine it makes the Vatican look like a gas station bathroom. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warmth that said, “We’ve seen worse mouths, probably.”
The Quest for a Smile
Dr. X (the tooth wizard) examined my mouth like Indiana Jones studying an ancient artifact. There was silence… then the words that changed my life:
> “We can fix this.”
I didn’t know whether to cry or propose to the hygienist out of gratitude. Instead, I just nodded bravely, like a man about to invade Normandy.
The Transformation
What followed was a journey so harrowing, so heroic, it deserves its own Netflix docuseries:
Novocaine: administered by someone who clearly moonlights as a sniper — perfect precision.
Drill noises: oddly rhythmic. I think I achieved dental enlightenment somewhere around the second molar.
Fluoride rinse: minty justice.
When it was over, I looked in the mirror and saw something I hadn’t seen in years: hope. And teeth. Lots of them.
The Unexpected Side Effects
That night, my wife looked at me across the dinner table. For the first time in years, she smiled back.
> “You… you’re glowing,” she whispered.
“It’s just the fluoride,” I replied seductively.
Suddenly, we were flirting like teenagers again. The romance rekindled. We even started brushing together. (Colgate should honestly sponsor us.)
The Aftermath
Now, every time I flash my smile, strangers stop and applaud. Birds chirp. Babies giggle. Our marriage counselor retired — said we were his magnum opus.
If you’re thinking about going anywhere else, don’t. Crossville Smiles doesn’t just fix teeth — it fixes lives. My only regret is not getting my gums done sooner.
TL;DR:
Went in looking like a jack-o’-lantern, came out looking like a toothpaste commercial.
Marriage saved. Confidence restored. 10/10 would get drilled again.

As a patient for several years was pleased with everyone on staff, with cleanings, and procedures. However, this is a busy office which means appointments are not usually scheduled quickly. And when you are in pain &/or have an emergency it creates frustrating issues and concerns. For these reasons we made the decision to find another practice.
