- LFLee FunderburkFeb 4, 20215.0I saw Dr. Balogun while he was practicing at Cheraw Women's Center (gynecology). I was suffering since age 15 with extreme menstrual bleeding. I saw numerous doctors who treated me for endometriosis. I saw Dr. Balogun on Feb. 5, 2008. At that first visit, he said that all that time I was hemorrhaging. He said I needed an emergency hysterectomy and wanted to schedule it the next day. I had it postponed until Feb 20, 2008. Miraculously, after removing my uterus and doing a biopsy, they discovered cancer in my uterine lining. Had Dr. Balogun not performed the surgery, the cancer would have spread. I thank God for him!
