- MBMatthew BlizzardNov 10, 20252.0I went to Stanton optical instead of my normal eye doctor I go to because they were open on the weekends and I didn't want to have to take off of work. They got me in there fast and the visit was really fast and all of that was nice but the first thing I noticed is that the doctor is not even in the room he is on zoom which I'm not sure how you can properly examine someone's eyes when you're not even present. But I didn't worry about it I figured they had the process I got contacts and glasses the first contacts I got that I had to order and pay for did not seem to fit properly they told me this is because my astigmatism had gotten worse even though the prescription they gave me for stigmatism was the same one as I had gotten before I made this visit. They help me out and gave me a second pair which also did not fit... And I have to keep running my hand and my eye to adjust it but I decided to wait a little while to see if my eyes adjusted because it was a new brand. But my eyes never adjusted and when I went back in there they told me I had waited too long and that I would have to get doubly expensive custom contacts if I didn't want to have to adjust them every few minutes. I don't feel like they really cared much once they had gotten my money and had given me contacts they seem to be more concerned about the next customers that they had in there. I don't believe I will ever go back there I am still dealing with having contacts that don't fit properly and now I'm going to have to pay for a visit to my regular eye doctor so that he can fix the problem

She needs to be fired or retired, period. She is no good for your company and will not keep good business nor customers!

They bait you in thinking 2 pair for the cost advertised is low,then put you with a virtual doc,that guesses at your eyes..just to come out oweing 7-900 dollars for glasses, you make 2 payments on that you still haven't received...this is the worst I've ever been scammed on my glasses in my life. I will never give them any business in the future. America's best has a longer wait, but we'll worth the wait, cost and selection.
- MWMichael WeaverOct 1, 20251.0Optical buyer-consider this: SO offers you a free eye ""exam" consisting of a less than 10 minutes with a virtual OD who does a few tests. Then they change your prescription from an expert testing by a world renowned university who tested with the best equipment for two hours and never heard of a virtual eye exam! They send it off to China which I had told them I wanted a US lab to do the job. It comes back screwed up. I asked for the entire amount back, they offered 20%. The office person who was not an optometrist said she could tell by just looking that their adjusted prescription was correct. It would take a long text to describe the unpleasant, unprofessional and unethical way this company operates. Do not be fooled by 2 for$79 offers. Only applies to single vision. Marketing trick. The offered "exam" is an absolute joke as is Stanton Optical! Run away, don't even consider them as a valid option!

The staff is friendly, professional, and really takes the time to make sure you feel comfortable and taken care of. Special thanks to Leigh-Ann and Brooke — they were both incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and professional throughout my visit. You can tell this location is managed very well, and it shows in the excellent service and smooth process from start to finish. Highly recommend this team if you’re looking for quality eye care and outstanding customer service!
