  It is a virtual doctor. No, it's not 79.00. immediately tried to charge 139.00. for exam, Had to push to get them to honor their advertised price. Worse than a used car dealership. Feel sorry for the workers.

  The staff in store was nice a super helpful. The doctor was virtual I had no problem with that because the staff went over the changes to my prescription. The thing is I order two pair of glasses for my daughter and one for myself. Hers was back before Christmas mine was to be back on the 26th. Now I'm told mine will not be ready till the 1st. They can't even tell me why mine is taking so much longer

  This place is a mess. Yes, they got me in same day — but everything after that was a complete waste of my time. I was told over the phone that the Florence location does same-day glasses unless the lenses are specialty. I drove 50 minutes based on that information. When I arrived, I was told they aren’t doing same-day glasses at all right now. Come to find out, the person who answered the phone does not even work at this location, yet confidently gave out false information. That alone is unacceptable. When I arrived around 4:30 PM, I was the only patient in the building, yet staff were in the back laughing and talking about nonsense like it was a break room hangout while I sat waiting. Extremely unprofessional and showed zero respect for my time. The “eye exam” was a joke — a maybe 3-minute Zoom call with a doctor who appeared to be at home, hair messy, looking completely unprofessional. No explanation of results, no conversation, no care whatsoever. It felt rushed and lazy. The glasses selection was awful, so I decided to just pay the $79 exam fee and leave. The man who checked me out —white/gray hair — was about to let me walk out without my prescription. If I hadn’t stopped and asked for it, I would have left with nothing. He literally said “oh yeah” and printed it after I reminded him. No one reviewed my results, explained anything, or even acted like they cared. This location is disorganized, misleading, and wildly unprofessional from start to finish. I will NEVER return and would strongly recommend going anywhere else

  Just had my first exam at Stanton Optical. While I was sitting in the waiting area, I overheard a conference call between all of the stores and it sounded like a scene from the movie "The Bee Keeper" where they were telling there people how to answer questions... Like do you have a Dr there...there answer was yes.....however they only have one virtually via a video call. While I was having my virtual exam the person on the other end of the conference call received a call from her sons school and had to hurry through the virtual exam. I would NOT recommend this company. Scam Scam Scam !!! I just read your response to my review above. You say the same thing to every bad review you receive. Now, you need to explain to all your patrons how a female (wearing a hoodie sitting in her house) gives them a eye exam over a video (computer) and their prescription is written by a male physician that lives in Savannah Georgia. Your business is unprofessional. You basically lie to all patrons that opens your door. Now I will wait for the SAME response from you, you know the ones that you are not truly reading to see what complaints your patrons have against your business.

  They are very good until they get your money. Glasses are causing great pain to my ears. I asked if they could adjust them. He said I can but I’m not allowed. I even paid for the warranty. So 250 for glasses that cause me great pain!
